    Morning All,

I got very confused when I got up this morning, there's a big bright thing in the sky!!! First time I've managed to get washing on the line in what seems like ages.

Nice extra OP sweetdaisy, all updated for you.

From the googledoc, a great OP for you UnionGirl, keep it up.

Might see you later but lots of washing, bed stripping and hopefully a bit of gardening to be done today too.

    Take care,
    Spigs

Hi OM, I have finally put in this years figures so far, thanks very much for running the challenge this year.
    MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁
  • No 151 signing in with £400 OP so far this month.

I have had a more exciting month on the mortgage than this OP appears to suggest. I had a bit of luck and now have £8000 sat in my offset which I didn't have at the beginning of the month. I've yet to decide what I am going to do with this so it's not an OP yet.

Likewise I had the "your mortgage fix is coming to an end" letter this week. My standard payment is coming down by over £200 a month so this will no doubt help my plan to reach £6000 OP by end of year.

I've also spent time adjusting all my standing orders and direct debits to get money out of my current account the day after pay day, rather than in dribs and drabs throughout the month. Much of this will now be offset against my mortgage for months at a time as a save up for the big annual bills.

I will report the outcome of all of this, as well as a sum total OP for the month, after payday (this Friday :T:T:T)

    CM
    Debt free as of 01/06/13
MFW: Mortgage when started: £205,000 Mortgage 21/11/13 £202,608 Offset target 2014: £5088/£12000 Planned payoff date: August 2026 LTV: 86.3% Daily interest: £21.55

    Good evening all,

I've updated all your OPs from Jan-May newgirly.

Sounds like a very positive month cardiffmatch, all updated so far, good for you.

From the googledoc, another OP from dave j for June, excellent.

Also a June OP from wonderbee, you really are going in the right direction, well done.

    See you all tomorrow.

    Take care,

Number 136 checking in with a June op of £500

Means I have now exceeded my initial target for 2012 and am at 64% of my revised 2012 target! This is more addictive than I thought! :T
