    Morning world:)

    A bit cold and frosty this morning but thank goodness there is no sign of that wind.

    I've been a wee bit missing in action these last few days. I've just been so busy and under so much pressure but you know what??? - I've come out the other side and I didn't cope by bingeing or any other unhealthy behaviour and if that isn't progress I don't know what is:D. I did have a blinding headache last night but I think that was all the tension leaving my body. In the last 2 days I've had to do some public speaking (I hate that!!) and supported my sister in court (I was so nervous for her so heaven knows how she felt). It all worked out and I feel that I can head towards Xmas with a big weight of my shoulders:).

    I have bought some Xmas presents which I'm quite pleased
    about -
    • Nephew no 1 - football top
    • Nephew no 2 - action figures
    • OH - aftershave (£20 off and cashback:T)
    OH is working on Sunday so my weekend is a bit boring. I have pilates and opticians tomorrow. I'm on leave all next week so my plans are to go shopping with my Mum on Monday and then spend Tues/Wed cleaning and preparing for visitors.

    It's been a pleasure to read and inspiring too.

    Hi all

    I'm sitting in front of the fire with a cup of tea. OH put up the Xmas tree up yesterday while I was at work so it is now twinkling away - can you tell I'm a Xmas nut
    :santa2:.

    I had to take nephew no 1 to football practice this morning and then headed on to my pilates class. I then had to race home to get to the opticians and then race back to pick up nephew from footy. Phew bit of a busy day but all done now:).

    I got some brilliant news - it looks like I will hear about my promotion sooner rather than later. I can't say more as I know that I will jinx it. I was so happy driving out of work yesterday.

    Ok - back to the spendy front - £45 in the opticians for contacts which as they are only for when I run on my own and going out they should last me for about a year. I popped into Lidl for dinner and ended up spending £16.12 (I will never learn:o). I spent £4 at circuits and then gave £2 to charity.

    I got £6 interest on my credit union account today and the optician gave me a receipt for my eyesight test which I can claim back from work. She gave me a receipt for £25 but I think I only paid £20 (I paid it last month and forgot to get a receipt). Hmmm should I do the right thing and query it or pocket the extra £5????? I'm leaning towards pocketing the £5:p:o

    I have a load of plans for my week's leave - I started with very little to do and now I have a never ending 'to do' list.

    Plans

    Mon - shopping with my Mum & sister.
    Tues - clear out spare room and give house a proper clean
    Wed - hoover out car & clear out my wardrobe.

    I also want to tidy up the garden before the winter really hits but I have to wait and see what plans mother nature has:)

    Hi all,

    Oh dear - shattered. I've been traipsing round the shops with my Mum and sister and I think I have everything done. My gift budget is gone but I used some of it on lunch and paid for my Mum.

    I'm heading out tonight for a Xmas dinner and it is out of my entertainment budget. It shouldn't be too late a night - I wish I hadn't said yes but it will be grand.

    Hi again:D,

    So I have lots of things to do tomorrow and none of them involve venturing near the shops:).

    To do (Tues)

    • clean kitchen (this involves clearing out fridge & cupboards);
    • clear out cloakroom (can't get door shut now:o)
    • clear out and tidy spare room (there is a bed in there somewhere:o).
    I think that will be enough for tomorrow - I have the garden, wardrobe and bathroom to clean and a quick tidy up of garage. If I get all that done this week I will be delighted:D

    Morning world

    I've now got to add doing my own ironing to today's plans as I hate it building up.

    I had a lovely night last night and only spent £20. Sobriety could be the new way forward. I woke up half dreaming last night and was stressing (in my dream) that I had got drunk, talked crap and embarrassed myself. I was relieved when I totally woke up and new that I had a lovely meal with friends and no drink. It's a bit like when I started recovery from my ED when I stopped purging and I woke up a few times having dreamt I had purged and was so upset and depressed and then woke up fully and realised it had been a dream (this is common to those who are recovering - also they don't tell you about the wind :o:o:D).

    To do (Tues)
    • take nephew to school
    • clean kitchen (this involves clearing out fridge & cupboards);
    • clear out cloakroom (can't get door shut now:o)
    • clear out and tidy spare room (there is a bed in there somewhere:o)
    • ironing
    • clear out wardrobe.
    I know this is a lot but it means I will "only" have garden, shed and car to do tomorrow.

    Hi all:D

    I'm tired and achy but I've most of my jobs done and am very content - I still have more to do tomorrow but I'll worry about that in the morning.

    I'm quite proud of the kitchen - I cleaned out the fridge, washed a wall, cleaned the front door, washed out all the cupboards, and emptied and washed out the bread bin.

    After I had cleaned all the rooms I packed up all the rubbish and boxes and took them to the recycling centre.

    Tomorrow I want to -
    • go to beauticians and pick up contact lenses;
    • clear out my wardrobe;
    • wash bathroom door;
    • tidy up garden for the winter;
    • hoover out my car.
    Thursday
    • tidy up OH house.
    Friday
    • rest:D

    Morning world:)

    I'm an early riser and I've managed to do the bathroom, clear out my wardrobe & tidy up my room (all old receipts binned etc). I'm going to go out and hoover my car and then I'll head on to the beauticians and the opticians.

    I'm also going to have to pop to the recycling centre again but that is on my way.

    I'm slightly over on the clothes budget but what is £3.25 between friends:p but the food budget is on shaky ground so will probably have to borrow from entertainment budget.
