You've been working hard for the past week, and it is a funny old time of the year. What with the weather, dark nights, stress and bustle in the shops and a whirligig of socialising and entertaining.

    Morning world:D

Hi Greying - my baby passed :T. If the car had failed it would have been an £18 retest + whatever needed to be fixed so I'm greatly relieved. In N Ireland the MOT is run by the government so it isn't like you take it to an ordinary garage. I drove it in and you have to open your bonnet, show them all your lights are working, wipers etc. The first time I had to do my MOT I was that nervous that I took a total blank on the indicators:o. It's not so bad now but the mechanic tells you absolutely nothing as the car goes through each stage of the test but we passed.

After the test I had such a blinding headache which I thought was stress and a carry over from the day before but guess what it was "my time of month". How did I not know? - the evidence was all there - tears/moods/& overwhelming desire for a dairymilk wholenut:rotfl:.

Ok spends front - I've bought OH his final pressie - a book he wanted, stress oil (he needs it:)) and a massage gadget thing. I'm going to pick up a small selection box for him today and he is done. I'm also going to pick up a box of chocs for my Mum:).

I have a Xmas dinner tomorrow night - last formal dinner:). I have a carvery on Thurs but I'm looking forward to it as it is more relaxing.

    Spends yesterday -
    • £4 exercise
    • £19.36 OH Xmas pressie

    Budget

    Purse................£113.28
    Bank.................£54.46
    Credit card.........£244.95/£250

    Morning all

I have such a busy day ahead so I don't know why I'm on the computer:D.

Ok I will leave the house at 7am and probably won't be home until about 11pm. I first of all have to be at physio at 8am - my hip and knee feel great so hopefully I will not have to go to physio so often (cheaper:)).

I am interviewing for new staff today from 10am and I have so much work to do today that it is insane. I am also going to a Xmas dinner tonight so I have to pack my dress and everything else and take it with me this morning.

Ok deep breath and lets hit the road:D

    Morning world

OK I'm banning turkey until 25th Dec, last night I was at my Xmas dinner and I'm kind of feeling stuffed, heavy and tired even though I limited my portions......maybe it wasn't the turkey but the apple crumble:rotfl:.

Spends were pretty good yesterday. I paid the balance of my dinner and bought some sparkling water (mad party animal) - £15.70 and I spent £1.80 earlier on milk, paper and bread.

    Budget

    Purse................£43.51
    Bank.................£74.06
    Credit card.........£244.95/£250

I got paid today but I'm hoping I don't touch it until the time it would usually be due in my account (26th Dec). I'm pretty confident I can make the last of my budget stretch until then otherwise my salary will have to stretch for 6 weeks:eek:.

At the Xmas dinner I won a wee chocolate prize for my support, assistance etc to our club during the year - it really made me chuckle:D. I also got a bottle of wine and a cd from a friend for my birthday and a bottle of wine from my boss:T. It is usually pants having a birthday so close to Xmas but it is working out quite well this year.

My sister is home today and I have to pick her up at the airport later - thank goodness that storm has passed.

    Morning world:)

I'm on leave today but I still woke up at silly o'clock (6am) and I've been reading diaries this morning. I think if I add anymore to my subscribed list I will have to go part time to read them all:D.

Great news - I picked up my sister and her hubby from the airport and my sister brought extra baggage............she's pregnant:D and it's their first baby.

Yesterday was the final Xmas lunch which although paid for by our boss I bought more water (woo hoo) and I contributed £10 to a Xmas present. It was all planned spends so I'm counting yesterday as an NSD (I joined the NSD challenge yesterday:)).

    Budget

    Purse................£23.25
    Bank.................£74.06
    Credit card.........£244.95/£250

I put in a travel claim for £67 and a claim for my eyesight test £25 but I don't think either of them will be in my account until after Xmas.

I had to drive to a meeting miles away from home yesterday and for the last 20 mins of my journey there was heavy snow. It was gorgeous but not ideal as I was running late because of the bad weather (I had left super early). Xmas is definitely here:D.

I was thinking about going for a run this morning but I want to do a Park run 5k tomorrow so I think I will just leave it until then.

Plans today - lunch with sister, brother in law, OH & my Mum.

    Hi all

I had a great lunch yesterday with my family. The restaurant we went to was absolutely lovely and newly decorated. I had a nice healthy salad and then a giant pastry:D - well it would be rude not to.

I had a few spends as I bought a wreath for my dad's grave, a brooch for my coat and biscuits for my family.

    Budget

    Purse................£58.78
    Bank.................£14.06
    Credit card.........£30/£200

I made it out for a run this morning but the weather was atrocious - freezing, wet and windy and my knee started to play up:( - it's my own fault as I haven't been out running for over a week and I haven't done any of my physio exercises:o.

I'm out to dinner tonight with OH but he wont tell me where we are going. I know I don't have to be ready until 7.30 so I can sit here in diaryland for a bit longer. I'm watching Equestrian Olympia, which is always a sign that we are at Xmas:D.

    Hi diaryland:)

Well I have a few extra pennies in my purse:D. Its my birthday today and my family & friends treated me to a surprise party last night (wasn't too much of a surprise as they are no good at keeping secrets but it is the thought that counts:D).

I got some lovely gifts as well as a wee bit of money.

    Budget

    Purse................£89.75
    Bank.................£14.06
    Credit card.........£30/£200

I shouldn't really have a lot of spends this week as most of my shopping is done and if there is anything I need it is probably too late anyway.

    Hi all

I had a bit of an ED wobble today and it is the first significant wobble in a long time. I've been eating a wee bit more than normal recently (fair enough it's Xmas:)), today I didn't plan very well and ate food I didn't really want because it was there. At lunchtime I felt nervous when eating (couldn't pinpoint reason).

I came home and Mum had made dinner I didn't fancy but ate it anyway. I continued to pick at sweet treats I didn't need or want. I then had a coughing fit and had to run to the toilet as I thought I was going to be sick. I wasn't but for a few seconds I thought I could easily make myself sick and I would feel better:eek:. It was a brief thought but it shows that an ED can creep up on me. So what am I going to do??? Tomorrow I'm going to plan my meals and eat filling nutritious food (as well as a few treats). I feel good now as I didn't revert back to type :D. I also know that I had a tough enough day in work and I needed a break between work and home but I didn't get it.

Anyhow back to the budgeting - I had an NSD today as I didn't go near the shops. Tomorrow I'm going to get up early and pop to the shops to get muesli, juice and some chocs for my Mum.

I am very grateful to my friends as I got some gorgeous birthday gifts and my family treated me to a lovely night out. Yikes Xmas eve tomorrow and I'm working to 5pm.

    Hi all

Much better day today:xmassmile - I even stopped at Mr T to buy fruit as I just fancied it rather than eating it because its healthy.

18 more mins left in work and we're listening to Xmas music and hoping we have no more phonecalls.

I spent £11.94 in Mr Ts this morning and I'm meeting a friend in the pub later but don't want to spend more than £10 tonight as I'm hoping it's a quick pop to pub and home.

    Budget

    Purse................£77.80
    Bank.................£14.06
    Credit card.........£30/£200

Hope Santa is good to you all

    M:D
