    Hi Munchin

I have just been reading your diary over the last few days and I have to say you are one incredibly strong lady.

You have come so far since you started and even though you have had your dips you always dusted yourself off and got back on the horse!

Try not to overwork yourself with the night duty, as it sounds like your main job is hectic enough as it is.

Hi Alarae - thank you for reading. I'm always conscious that I have plans & positivity and then thump fall over the next hurdle:o:D. I'm going to pop over to your diary later.

Yesterday I had a meeting at a nice hotel in Belfast & got to wander round the Xmas market before I went back to work - bliss:).

I'm heading to the gym in 20 mins to get my dose of happy hormones so I better make a move.

I think you must have found my gym mojo as I haven't been to the gym once this week. Used to go six days a week for 11 classes total.. :o

I'll sit here with my chocolate bar and cheer you on instead. I'm going tomorrow! Promise!

    Morning all,

I can't believe another week has skipped by and we're almost in December. I have packed a lot into the last weekend, on Friday I went and saw a counsellor and it was like a mini top up session. I felt great afterwards and it was a timely reminder that we have to look after ourselves before trying to help other people. I have to work on saying No more often :o.

Saturday I went out with the girly friends and we had a few wines and then hit the dance floor. Sunday I had to pay for the few wines but that passed after lots of water and coffee. We went to the £1 shops on Sunday and they were packed which meant that we just had a nosy at what was on offer and then came home to vegetate. OHs friends popped in on Sunday evening and we did the sociable thing when I just wanted to curl up in a ball and sleep.

A lot of my family have come down with the really bad sickness bug and I feel it's only a matter of time before it hits me but hopefully keeping them in quarantine will help.

I have a bit of Xmas shopping done but going to do a wee list and stick to it.

I got paid yesterday and I want to hang onto it for as long as possible so no frittering. I have Xmas presents to buy out of my budget which I spent all year saving for but am attempting a bit of a spending fast as well which I know is a bit mad but I know that I fritter and it gets so much worse at Xmas.

    Christmas presents :xmassmile

Hi INOD - I popped in to see Mum yesterday & she said she visited my brother & his family who all have the plague!!!! The one person who should be avoiding it the most is my 74 year old mum. Now I have to wait & see if we all have it.

NSD yesterday - I started a fresh YNAB budget y'day and didn't give any funds to November so living on fresh air until tmw :). I think I have a fair bit of money to spend in work in Dec so will attempt to keep that budget in check.

I'm to be at the gym by 7.45 so need to get organised.

    Morning all,

I need to be in early to work as I'm on leave tmw & have a million things to do.

Money front - December is started with a spend:o. Work have a kids xmas party which I help organise. Nephew no 2 is coming with me on Tuesday so I ordered him a present online this morning to pick up from Mr Ts on Friday. It was £15.99 reduced to £8.99 online. I had £3.50 in Mr T vouchers so it came to £5.49 & I will get 15p back if cashback tracks:).

I'm also going out for lunch with work today so more spends - oh well I suppose that's why I have my Xmas savings.

    Morning all,

I am determined not to spend money .... which means that in the first 4 days of Xmas I've spent nearly £100:o.

I've actually put down that I'm aiming for 15 NSDs in December but I'm not off to a great start. I have a night shift tomorrow night, a works do on Tuesday, an AGM on Wednesday and am going out for lunch after it. I am also going to a wedding on Friday and have a beauticians appointment on Thursday. I might bag an NSD tomorrow but that might be it this week.

I think this will be my busiest week in December but it will be stressful & fun. Not many plans today apart from taking it easier.

    Morning all

Yesterday was such a manic day but I managed it and have just finished night shift.

I also grabbed my first NSD of December :). I'm buying breakfast this morning in work after my shift but I claim it back so hopefully that counts as another NSD today.

I see Guns & Roses are comin to Ireland & will text my friends to see if they are hoping to get tickets. I was a mad fan 20 years ago and I'd like to see them but not too disappointed if I don't.

Time to embrace another manic day
