Hi INOD - just crawling out from under duvet now
. It was just one of those months but we all have them.
I had signed up to do a marathon in April but unfortunately an old injury returned - I was so upset as running is my stress release. I went & saw a new physio who asked me to go back to doctor as he thinks my injury has been diagnosed incorrectly. I feel more positive as maybe my knee can finally be fixed:D
I've been working incredibly long hours as we have a project deadline to meet. I was in work to just after 9 this week and I'm doing overtime today but will squeeze in a yoga class - I need some balance.
Money front - not bad. Working so much keeps me away from shops:). I dipped under the £1k mark on my credit card and it feels like I have hit the last big hurdle0 -
Hi all
Thank crunchie it is Friday.
So lots of overtime this week - late nights and early mornings but it should mean that I dip under £500 on the credit card which will be amazing. I also plan on putting some money into holiday fund.
OH is working all weekend & I'm working tmw so not too many plans. A good friend is retiring today so I'm going to treat her to lunch as she would like to just slip quietly out the door.
Hopefully I will finish early today.0 -
Morning all
So so tired from working long days but I'm enjoying it and my credit card balance is now at £412 - one more payment in April and I will be debt free....again:D:D.
I'm working to 11 tonight (overtime) so no major plans but tomorrow is St Paddys day so my sister is going to colour my hair and then we are both going out to lunch with my Mum.
My other sister's hubby & toddler were in a bad crash at the weekend but thank goodness apart from bumps and bruises they are both sore but fine. An idiot crashed into them head on overtaking on a blind bend.
Money front - good. Long days mean I don't get to shops & the extra money is paying of my final debt...& maybe new shoes:o. This should be the final day of overtime but there is a rumour there could be a day next week.0 -

Hi all
Today was a bit spendy but no frittering:).
I went to Asda & bought bike lights, pump and lock. I'm working about 7 miles from home so I said that as soon as the long days appear again I'm going to cycle to work. I was going to go to Halfords but when I saw bike bits in Asda I just bought them. I also bought Easter bunnies for family, OH & maybe a spare one for me:o.
I cleaned the house and the stove. I have dinner prepared and have a glass of red wine beside me:D.0 -
Morning all
Payday today:D. I had cleared my credit card during the month so things were getting very tight but I made it.
I've ate far too much chocolate and am feeling incredibly sluggish but on the positive side I've had a lovely Easter with family.
I have signed up to a 5k race on Sunday with sister and nephew and am meeting them for a training run today. Well it's to make nephew feel supported and fun for him. I saw a consultant about my dodgy knee last week and I now have an MRI on 06th April.
I'm heading to Rome next week with OH who might have pulled himself out of his mood by then but if I go with the attitude that my positivity will wash over him or I ignore him things will be good.0 -
Hi all
The race yesterday was fantastic. People turned up in bunny costumes, bunny ears and tutus to raise money for the Children's hospice. My nephew took of and left us for dust but my sister and I had a really good run together and nattered the entire course.
Money front - I'm sitting here with my budget and rates bill. It's only gone up about 50p a month so I really can't complain but as I live in the sticks I feel I'm paying a lot to get my bin picked up fortnightly and no I don't have street lights etc.
I have my MRI on Wed and I have a beautician appointment as well so its going to be a busy day. I'm going to Rome the next day so so so excited. I booked my flight at 3 in the afternoon from Dublin but they have changed it to 6.30 am from Dublin so no sleep Wed night. I haven't packed anything and of course I have nothing to wear but I'm sure I will be fine. I got a new pair of trainers which I need to break in properly before I hit the cobbles of Rome.
Got to dash and see how tight these clothes are:o0
