    Morning all,

Pup is asleep in my lap:) which is why I haven't started on any of my 'to do' things and that is my excuse.

The nutritionist sent me 50 recipes to get me started so I'm going to pop to shops for a few bits and bobs and I'm going to go to the £1 shops to see if they have cheap car mats. The mat under my feet is done and curls up under my foot and the pedal so that isn't good.

I got a community association flyer in for the months ahead and they have training courses. I did a sign language course with them years ago but the only things that are appealing to me is a conversational spanish course but it is on a Monday so clashes with my volunteering and a flower arranging course. There is also a wine tasting course but I think I'm already pretty good at the wine tasting:rotfl:.

I'm starting to get back into my happier frame of mind and get on with things. I made the mistake of taking Mum to the shops with me yesterday because it ended up being a bit more spendy than I had planned:o.

    Tomorrow's jobs -
    • [STRIKE]clean out car[/STRIKE] - done
    • buy car mats (hopefully from discount shop) - bought but need to take back as they don't fit.
So my plans today are -
    • strim lane
    • cut hedge
    • weed out back of house
    • visit doctor.
I think this is the last of the big outside jobs before the winter hits. I'm kind of hoping fairies will appear and do it for me but until then I better get on with it.

I see U2 are coming to Belfast and I'm tempted. I've seen them years ago in London and wouldn't mind repeating the experience. Tickets range from £30 to over £100 and I could just imagine where you would end up with £30 tickets.

    Evening all,

I am happily shattered this evening:). I managed to do all the things on my list and I went and gave a family member a hand with lifting bales. I have to admit there are muscles squeaking that haven't been used in a long time

    Morning world

So today is the last day of my holidays and by the sound of it there will be lots of changes when I return because a voluntary redundancy plan has been agreed. I didn't apply but it will open up opportunities for those of us left behind.

I took my dog to the vets to get him wormed yesterday (free) and I also got my blood test done and I should get the results on Monday before my appointment with my nutritionist.

I'm kind of tempted to try out my ankle today just to see if it will hold up to some running because I have an 8k in 5 weeks and I've lost 3 weeks training because of my ankle.

    Hi all,

I ventured out for a run yesterday just to test my ankle and unfortunately the results were not good. I was fit to run but corners were not good and last night my foot was swollen up again. I think I might pop across to the running thread for some advice.

Yesterday was a spendy day which was a bit of a pain. I'm back to work next week and then I should be back into a routine.

    Morning all,

I'm just watching the Great North run this morning, I did it in 2008 and it was an amazing race.

I don't have many plans today but OH is talking about going out for dinner this evening. I have a busy day tomorrow as I've an appointment with my sports therapist at lunchtime and then after that I have to scoot to the other side of Belfast for my nutrionist appointment. I'm looking forward not so much in getting back to work on Tuesday but to be back in a routine.

    Monday again:(

I'm going to see my sports therapist guy today. I'm kind of looking forward to it in a strange way as I've decided that I would love to run a marathon next year. I used to run a lot but because of injury my mojo kind of left me. However my friends have signed up for Rome in April and I think I would like to make that my aim. I'm under no illusions in that if I do it I will be at the back but I would so love to get the running bug back:).

I'm also seeing my nutritionist today and I was supposed to keep a food journal this week. I did keep a journal but what I planned and what I ate are 2 different things so the diary looks like it has been attacked a few times:o.

    Morning world,

I can't believe a week has slipped by. I went to my physio and boy it was painful. He manipulated my ankle to start the healing properly and I have to go back today to endure the same torture but if it works I'm happy.

I saw my nutritionist and she recommended some supplements as well as tweaks to my diet. I also went to the docs and got blood tests done and they show that I'm fairly healthy.

I got some really brilliant news on the work front- I'm changing jobs again. I accepted the temporary post as I needed the experience in that area of work but what I didn't know was that another work area actually wanted me to fill a position but thought I had moved into a permanent post. Things were going on in the background I didn't know about and hey presto I'm moving to a new post 6 miles from home:D. The downside is that I have staff again but the work area is interesting, challenging and close to home:).

Money front - blah come on payday. My sister and her boyfriend both had their bank cards used for fraud. Last night on nosebook someone from our town put up a post to not use a cashpoint in our town because of fraud. My sister said that she didn't notice anything strange when using it.

    Morning all

I don't have much craic today - another day of hoping that I will hear when I move to my new job. I've been out twice to garden with pup already and we are getting there but I do feel a tad stupid standing outside encouraging pup and he makes a sprint for door to get back into the warmth and leaves me standing looking slighlty demented.

I need to focus on finding some NSDs - I ended up in Mr Ts yesterday but I was pretty good and stuck to my list. I'm due about £100 excess fares but unfortunately personnel keep asking for more information.

I've arranged coffee with friends this Friday and then lunch with friends next Monday. Thank goodness pay day is coming up.

    Mon - £36 physio + £28 vet + £3.50 0dog bits
