Hey all, thought you'd appreciate my minor cupcake disaster today....
Not made cupcakes for ages and firstly, I over-filled my muffin cases. So the cupcakes came out of the oven looking more like souffles (sp?).
I was going to trim them down but mum happened to be round and told me not to waste good chocolate sponge, so I just iced them anyway. They look slightly ludicrous.
Then, I hadn't made enough buttercream and couldn't be bothered mixing more up so half are iced and half just dusted with icing sugar.
Hubby has been out for the day and I wanted to surprise him with cupcakes. I think he will be surprised. :rotfl:0 -

Oh yes, such a plonker! He went and bought the battery then realised he had to carry this 25kg battery almost two miles home, he got to his old flat which is only a few hundred meters from mine where the car is and decided to have a "rest" aka fall to sleep for four hours until I ring his door bell for a minute straight!! :wall:
He's now very sheepish and guilty looking as we missed the movie we were meant to see tonight too. Won't bothering worrying about him in future, as he's probably just fallen asleep somewhere!!Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0
