OS Daily Saturday 26th November

morning all

after me up and down for a few hrs last night, i managed to get a few hours solid sleep :j feel like a new woman. i can finally breathe through my nose and swallow again. cough is still there though....

anyway back to os ways from now because me, hubby and ds are all home at our house together. today he is taking up the ceramic tiles in the kitchen. the floor really isnt even so they have done nothing but come loose and crack :mad:

also taking ds to his cousins 1st birthday party. well its hubbys cousins little boy. need to get him a little present and a card.really hoping hubbys other cousin is there with their new baby after that we may go to hubbys nan depending how i'm feeling.

so busy day which will either do me some good or completely stress me out....

DS2 and his GF are in charge here for the weekend - looking after the dogs and house. We're treating them to a takeaway.

Morning all,

Cold but bright here, so wm is doing its thing, woke up to a boiling house this morning, I think OH had put the heating on permanent with the thermo set to 20, so it had been on all night :mad:, was far too hot, and I have been so careful with the heating, still the washing is nice and dry

Need to pop to Lidl today for a few bits, and get some wrapping paper and a card for Birthdays coming up. Will have a tidy round and hoover through this morning, and try and do three loads in the wm, and get it all on the line.

Dinner tonight is meatballs and pasta, which OH can cook, I think dd is out tonight for a couple of hours.

Big hugs to lots of you this morning, seems to be so much bad news atm xxx

Morning All,

Hugs for all those with sad news at the moment, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Late night last night but the 70th party was good, was very sensible and didn't have too much to eat or drink which is good for me.
Saw lots of family and old neighbours that I haven't seen for a long time, 20 yrs in some cases so it was nice to catch up. I was very proud of my 2 boys and got lots of compliments on how good looking they were:D

Today will be the usual Saturday morning clean up and then need some food shopping, not sure where yet. Tea tonight will be chicken breasts that I pulled out of the freezer yesterday, and I have the usual lot of washing to do

I need to put a charity bag of clothes out for collection and plan to try and wrap some pressies for Christmas.

Hugs for JackieG and Lou.

Today is DD2's birthday and this afternoon she is having some friends round to watch a film in their pyjamas. I am feeding them all hot dogs and cake with pop corn during the film. It is all very OS but will also be quite loud!

She has gone off this morning to run cross country for the school and then she has ballet (which I am watching as it is the last lesson before her exam, I also get to watch DD1's ballet today as she also has an exam next week).

Have a couple of hours to get the house ready so better crack on.

Goos Morning Everyone!
Well, has text from DS last evening to say he was back home once more...on the good side he sounded more positive and is looking forward to visit from ex-partner and LO this afternoon. Fingers crossed please...
We're off to Godson's wedding later but I need to do a small shop first. WM is just finishing. Woke up and decided if it was 6am I'd be up and clean the kitchen. Phone said 4.45 so lay there for ages and ages. Got upset when I heard heating click on - why??? No-one ought to be up...then alarm went! Set for 7.30..my phone said 5.50am!!! No wonder I'd woken up! Remembered that I'd had the battery out of said phone to change the SIM card yesterday, and hadn't reset the time! Oh well, kitchen will have to wait a bit longer now!
Am hoping I can wear my new shoes today..my feet feel a bit swollen. Oh well, will put another flatter pair in the car so I can change if it's a problem, not going to let that spoil my day!

Going horse riding tomorrow with my friend who's horse i might share. and today helping my dad with the garden and going out for dinner with OH and his parents.

Oh yeah, got a £15 amazon voucher through today, so will spend that later!

Morning all
I managed to grab a couple of hours sleep on the sofa so I should be ok for the rest of the day.
FW we don't have a plan B, it has come as a bolt from the blue. It seems to be the old 'reapply for your own job' malarky, so they can reduce everyone's pay.
We are waiting for an official letter to let us know what is happening exactly.
I've given the Barbie train a good scrub & it's come up well & the Barbie I won on Ebay has arrived & is in reasonable condition so that's one present sorted.
I shall carry on knitting the Mobius scarf for DD today as I'm in a CBA mood.
