PP Fantastic news :j so please it ended well!

I'm here feeling a bit knackered. Market went well for me this morning, hardly bought anything home, and I've just been clearing up my 'gear' Hot bath in the offing for me and two days 'off' There's not even much of a washing mountain, so I might actually get to do something 'exciting'

I've just made a trial salad. I bought a pot reduced in Mr M a couple of weeks ago, as I thought it would be OK for me to eat as it was rice based. Had a few lentils, and dried fruits, apricots, cranberries and some kind of rehydrated coconut chunks and fresh pineapple, sitting on a curry mayo base. It was tasty, and I wanted to replicate it (I jotted down the ingredients off the packet) but haven't got a clue what it was called... anyone know?

Mrs Chips do you want any tomato plants, I think OH had an aberration, he seems to have planted enough to supply west Wales.... ;) you'd be very welcome to as many as you can fit in, and Mrs OG!!!

The council have collected the compost bins so too late. I was looking at the pots and thinking why not, and then I thought, what do I know?! :o:cool:

Thank you all so much for your continued support. I honestly thought we had lost all our money, BUT we have learned a vital lesson and will never do this again.

We are very lucky to have gotten our money back though and know many people are not as fortunate as we have been. The motoring section of this site gave fantastic advice and we truly appreciate all their efforts and hard work to help us act fast and diligently.

Ive actually had another good cry tonight as I'm so relieved its over.

Thank you all again. You're all wonderful. xx

That's brilliant news about the car PP and I hope the !!!!!! gets what's coming to him. So relieved for you that hopefully by tomorrow evening you'll have a safe, cheaper car to take you and your family around in comfort.

They are good, aren't they Byatt - totally yummy. Padstow is full of nice things to eat, which is why we usually cycle there from Wadebridge - I like to delude myself that it burns of the extra calories :rotfl:

Penny Pincher - you've just made my day, as well as yours :T:T:T

Mardatha - best potatoes I've ever grown were a bag of Aldi salad potatoes for 69p. Accidentally left them until they sprouted in the cupboard, planted them and got loads of beautiful potatoes. Bargain! Any cheapo bag of spuds will do - OK not certified, disease free, organic, etc, etc, but it does work and that's what counts. 22 plants looking good so far this year from one 69p bag.

Ginnyknit - felt unable to respond the other day, keep your chin up chuck.
