I have to go for an endoscopy now, so waiting on word for that. The doc doesn't know what is wrong with me - at least he admitted it LOL! So he says no point in a low fat diet if no gallstones. Arghhhh wish they'd make minds up...

Mardatha - I went to a GP (not my named one - appts with her are so hard to get) about my breathlessness etc. He ran a few tests but in the end said he didn't know what was wrong with me. It couldn't be my heart because it had already been checked out.

Hmmm! A couple of weeks ago when I was poorly and went A&E I was told it was angina. New medication has already made me feel a lot better. I rest my case!

Just popping in to say that there is a chance that Northern Lights might be visible much further south than ususal tonight - due to solar flares which are hitting us atm.

Wish we were in Wales - no chance of seeing it here, north of us is the city - too much light pollution :(

Must dash - packing the garden up now :rotfl:

Am visualising MRSCHIP doing a Mary Poppins trick with a big carpet bag and her garden!! :rotfl:
Well DD1 is five weeks pregnant and has a sac and an egg yolk to be seen in her womb! Isn't science great! Still no baby to be seen, will have to wait for that. She will have another scan in two weeks.
Apparently there is a possibility that, A- there will be no baby just a placenta! B- one baby. C-more than one baby! This is the stage when anything can happen! :D
Main thing is she feels a lot better about it.

SDG:- your blood pressure sounds dangerously high. Have they given you any medication for it?

OOOOOOHHHHHH!!!! I hope it's clear... I'd be so excited Mrs Chips!!!

Day off = cleaning :( had Radio 2 on to cheer me along and heard some dreadful story from some bloke who's got days to live who is desperate to find his son who he's lost contact with for years, so cleaning and snivelling along :(

Goat curry is marinading, and I am contemplating tackling the next cake on the list of cakes to try...a hazelnut and caramel cake. Don't want OH and DS to get too used to me producing double exciting noms...LOL!

I've got today and tomorrow off, but have a list as long as my arm of things to do.

This should give you some sort of diagnosis and in some cases you get the results on the day you have the test done (at least DH did). Hopefully they will get you in within a couple of weeks.

I remember GreyQueen posting about this price hike a few weeks ago and wanted to post this where I thought she would see it.
Packets of own brand instant custard powder which went up recently from 6p to 15p have gone back down to 6p at Asda and Tesco. They are still 15p at JS (probably not for long though when they discover the other 2 stores have reduced their price).
:) Thanks for that, alexan; I shall scope out Mr T tomorrow. Prices are see-sawing about like see-saws or summat similar (similies fail me at this time of night).

:j Oh my goodness, what a range of possibilities to contemplate. All the best to your DD and please keep us posted.

:coffee: I'm having trouble at the homestead since Nursie texted me and said she much prefers that nice SDG31000 and isn't coming back to the Towers ever again. I've been attempting to train Henri d'Vac and Gollum the slowcooker to make the tea but they're both too darned short to reach up to the hob. So Henri had to vacuum and Gollum is sulking until tomorrow when I plan to stuff him with the whoopsied chicken which I purchased on my way home from the salt mine.

I lucked out a bit at the shop as hit the sweet spot when they were doing the second round of reductions. Bargains weren't silly-good but then I've barely seen a yellow label worth crowing about this year. Got 2 pineapples at 55p each and a big bird reduced to £3.55 from £6. I shall bounce that chickie into a roast for Friday, cold cuts, pies etc etc. Amazing how far a determined OS-er can stretch a chicken.

Righty, flat out of nonsense at the moment, so shall wander around the rest of the OS board. Have a pleasant evening, all, and may some Northern Lights be visible in your skies. I'm not going to be sharing as we're cloudy again and there's not a hint of the full moon never mind the Lights..........sigh.

Sorry not been on much past few days but pain levels have been rather high, but had to share my bit of news. I am sitting here in shock - oh boy do I want a cigarette but I will not have one, not that got any in anyway - yet its shock from good news. I just received an email from the Aide of my MP who has been trying to help me over my ESA. They received today an email telling them that after they received my letter last week asking them to look again at the decision placing me in ESA Work - Related Group they have after carefully looking at form, info from Health Provider ( I never even knew they had written to doctor she never said) and fact I was asking for reconsider they have decided I do meet at least one of the criteria for the Support Group, so they are now changing me from ESA Work Related contributions based to ESA Support Group contributions based.

I must be one of the very, very few people in the UK that has transferred from Incapacity Benefit to ESA without having had a medical and for them to only take a week ( they received my letter asking them to reconsider last Friday 2nd March, sent by special delivery) to look again at my case and put me in support group. I was amazed when I did at first email my MP and received a phone call from her Aide just a few hours later saying she(MP) would take up my case and wanted full details about my health - was on the phone about two hours as the aide went through every little thing, but he warned me that although she had tried to help many people who have come to her she has not always been successful so not to build up my hopes. In the email it states that a letter telling me about the change is on its way to me - I think I will want to frame it. I am not sure for how long this lasts but no doubt that information will be in the letter, money wise I think I will receive what I was receiving on IB.

I am in shock yet in a way tearful, as it really brings it home to me how bad my health is, how my life is so far from a 'normal one'. Stuck here in my room most of the time I can forget what it is to lead a normal life, and I still have that hope that one day I will wake up feeling fine and it will continue and all the bad health will be a thing of the past and I can work again and have a normal life again, but this the DWP accepting I am unable to work without even having a medical really brings it home to me.

As some of you know I set up a website to log my battle to be moved to support group in the hope what I did would help others and I intend to continue it as I have started a diary on it, I am finding it very helpful mentally as I spend so much time on my own not talking to anyone that thoughts go round in my head and it is so lonely, so the diary makes me feel I am not so alone, not that I think anyone is reading it as its very dry and boring, just my day to day life and sometimes things that I see in news that angers me or I want to change or help.

Just shows miracles do happen still

    Hugs and Love to allxxx
