Yes, perhaps that would be a bit quicker! it's a runny yeast batter and you need rings make them. I tried several times, they were never quite as nice as from the shop :rotfl:.

I had that craving but buckled and picked up Mr T's bargain ones, marked down to about 30p. I know you can make 'em but had a feeling it was complicated.

In good news, Atlantic refunded me £90! I might actually be able to pay my Next catalogue off early, as in next payday! This is my big one as I sort of forgot it was actual money I was spending and just used to order clothes whenever I felt like it - it's also the only debt with a big interest rate. Oh, it would be lovely to clear one completely :)

My washing line just went flying across the garden  - it's a rotary with a cover and although it has survived worse wind, it wasn't particularly weighted down. THought the wind was supposed to die down today?

No damage tho - and only some old dusters on it, which seem to be clean. I am supposed to be working - but really struggling to concentrate - they owe me over 2 weeks in time anyway, so not too guilty.
I wanna be in the room where it happens
  • hmm if there not as nice as shop ones and a bit off a faff then shop it is :D

oooh, you've set me off on a craving now WPP - and no, I haven't got a bun in the oven either (or even a cake - bad Bobby, call yourself OS and you've not baked today!:o) - only my craving is for scotch pancakes.
Never made 'em before though so has anyone got a reliable recipe please? Also, I guess you need a griddle for them but ain't got one of those either, so can I use a frying pan?

Thanks in advance, I'm sure one of you lovelies will be able to advise me.
  • I had a craving for dippy egg and soldiers last night and DH got up this morning and made me some for brekky, didn't have the heart to tell him the craving had gone off :rotfl::rotfl:

You see you can spoil someone without showering them with money :D oh the little things in life :rotfl::rotfl:

Scotch Pancakes- can be made in a frying pan, best if it has a heavy base. I havn't got a recipe that I have tried - I'm sure someone here will have one!

I love ginnlypigs, I wish we could have some, but not with mad mog :( . He looks a real character!
