Glad you are back tauras, it really lifted me to see your name as I scrolled down.
Just had a text from my best friend she is in the hospital delivery suite awaiting a room!! I am so excited and scared for her she is having identical twins, she is my age (so only just this side of 45) this is her first pregnancy (IVF) has high blood pressure and is classed as obese, so parayers and thought in this directions will be greatly received.DMP Support Thread Number 1860 -
Hello Taurus, glad you are home. :A
Wen, positive thoughts being sent; how exciting...I know what it's like to want a child being infertile myself, and would have tried IVF but it was kind of new back in the day when I was around at the time of the dinosaurs. :A0 -

And a tiny bit of good news from here: at least one of my hens is laying again:j They must have spotted that I'd been out and bought a dozen whoopsied free range eggs and decided they'd better get back to work;)0 -

I'll have to have a word with our maran: she isn't laying at the moment (the absence of lovely dark chocolate eggs is a give away), although her comb is red enough and she's one of the younger hens!0 -
We've got ducks (6 plus a drake) and have been really lucky to get 2 eggs every day since the summer, in fact one of the others has come into lay so we are now getting 3. I was thinking we would be without eggs from November through to February/March so has been a real bonus!0

It took me EIGHT HOURS to catch up with this thread. Whoops! That was a day out the window.
I'm new to posting though have lurked for ages. This is by far my favourite thread, very funny.
I'm knackered today, got to bed really late after the lads across the road finished their party and decided to recycle all the bottles at 2:30 am... that was the point I did yell across the road at them like a crazy lady. Then got up because I'd promised to pick up a freecycled bookcase. On my bicycle. I have a trailer, so it's not quite as insane as it sounds, though it didn't feel all that well-balanced, if you'll excuse the turn of phrase, once I discovered that the place I was picking it up from was a village half an hour's cycle ride out of town. Luckily the nice lady lent me a hammer and a screwdriver and I could disassemble it. But it was still sodding heavy to haul all the way back. Sat down for a cup of tea and a quick read of the boards... three hours later...
