Merry Christmas Everyone
I went and shook DS2 this morning at 8am while shouting "Santa's been!" I can tell I have another teenager due in less than 2 weeks. The presents are unwrapped and we have the traditional pile of paper in the middle of the living room floor. I got 6 boxes of teabags from Santa so I'm happy and can keep the tea urn stocked for a while.
DH has made bacon sandwiches for breakfast and I'm making the monsters suffer through The Magic Roundabout. Puddings are made and we are due around our friends at 12.30pm.
kidcat fingers crossed the table survives.
Have a wonderful day everyone xxxx0 -
Merry Christmas GQ and all. If kids are a bit you noisy where you are get some cotton wool in those ears.
I am still sitting like lady muck in bed - hubby brought me a cuppa at 8.30 with which I took with my meds and promptly fell asleep again for another hour:eek:
Hubby is busy doing the vacumning - his job and last time he did it was sometime in November, just as well only carpet is on stairs and landing, so its easy for me to keep rest of place clean with a broom, but today everywhere will be done, has to be and he knows it as son and family will be here about 11. I want to make some mulled wine to give to them when they arrive, I have a big punch bowl we were given as a wedding present, one with all the little cups that hang round it and its been used maybe 6 times in 31 years, but I love it and would never give it away. Reminds me must ask hubby to get it down, it lives on top of bookcase in hall, still in its original box.
Wine I am afraid will be non-alcfrolic as both son and hubby driving today and I cannot take alcohol, well I could with my meds if I wanted to have a very MERRY Christmas.
Well my dears I hope the big red man has brought you all you could wish - while I sit here with none
Well being honest nothing I really wanted, but a new handbag always goes down well so hubby is going to buy me one in the sales - I refused to let him buy one before them - so this week we will go handbag shopping. He never ever thinks to buy me a box of chocolates not unless I 'remind him', never has and never will, sigh' but good for my waistline - or where it should be anyway :rotfl::rotfl: Hubby has a mountain of Chocolate to get through, as he could not decide what he wanted ( an he is type of guy if you just buy him something because you think he will like it, it will never get used, it has to be something he asked for, and so that is what I buy now, but last night he announced there were some DVDs he would like so they have been ordered now.
Well better move, dinner will not cook itself nor the wine mull
Hope everyone has got up to lots and lots of lovely new things.

Merry Christmas everyone :A
I went to check on the cat I'm cat sitting for; lovely friendly tortie girl, who enjoys her food! Then, on the way home listening to the radio they played Dominic the Donkey (heard it for the first time yesterday...yes, I live in a bubble!:rotfl:), so stopped the car and called my DD so I could sing to her, but she didn't answer...either was fast asleep or she was at her aunt's and forgot her phone...
so came home and took pooch for a nice muddy walk! Picked a sprig of holly to have something live in the house. Lots of people out and about!
Very mild here so no heating needed yet hurrah!! :T
Have a wonderful day everyone if possible, and anyone who wants to chat PM me.
Hope Taurusgb is alright; seems very quiet. (((((Taurus)))))
