Was here, then went for me dinner and then disappeared.
Looked like it was heading for some racially abusive posts when I logged off.
Any gossip?

More like the heavy hand of KFC has come down on MSE. You can't fail to notice the number of threads that 'vanish' that are huge corporations being given 'bad press'. If it were a smaller concern getting bad stick, they couldn't give a sh*te. NOT a coincidence.0 -

Why was it bad press for KFC ? it is far more likely that the thread turned into a racist attack.

I doubt KFC would kick off about a thread that was discussing the fact they now sell Halal Chicken. I suspect that the mods took exception to iratereg's racist language, then paniced and deleted the whole thread. I think it's the racism angle (or just the bad tempered arguments).
Every so often a thread disappears and it usually seems to be one where the arguments are getting very heated.
I'm not sure why they don't just delete the offending messages.There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0
