After a quick scan of this thread, and people mentioning there's actually no Need for Speed, is a 1GB mini SD Ultra II going to be any better than a bog standard Mini SD? I've spotted them on play.com for 9.99 free P+P - if anyone else is interested!!!

Just letting you know that this offer is still available. I ordered a 1GB SD card at the weekend. If I was sensible, I would have ordered 2 more at the same time and saved on postage .

A very quick Google shows it takes XD cards. As for where's cheapest, read through the thread and check the suggestions for yourself.

Bit out of date everything here for those reading it in 2009, so thought I'd update the price-spotters corner with news of gomemory.co.uk who offer cheap as you like SD cards, Compact Flash and Micro SDHC etc..
