Evening Guys
Totally different me tonight. I feel great but I really don't know why. I was shattered when I came home from work so I had a quick nap before DD got in from school. We have had a lovely evening, she did her homework and then we just started chatting about school. Then she started trying to find out what I have got her for her birthday haha. I told her that none of her presents are in the house as I know what she's like. She hasn't got long to wait now and I'm looking forward to the day as well as we are going to the pictures in the afternoon.
Good weekend to look forward to, party on Friday night which hopefully will be brilliant and messy, recover Saturday with maybe just a couple of drinks in the evening and then DD's birthday on Sunday.
Unfortunately the last couple of weeks I have missed going down to the allotments for one reason or another so after this weekend I really need to make an effort to get down there as I am really missing it and the people down there. They are a great bunch.
Oh I forgot, I paid some of my debts this week so I need to update. It's not a lot but every penny counts doesn't it.
I'm still struggling with not having my spreadsheet, its all in my book now as I get paid cash. My lovely spreadsheet used to be all to do with my bank account so unless I pay my wages straight it and then draw it out I can't keep it up to date.
I try and keep my wages now for day to day spending, paying for the shopping and my fuel and then anything else goes in a tin to keep for emergencies (although it is sually gone by the end of the week).
I have three jars now, one for my 20p's, one for everything up to 10p's and then the one that I keep my wages in haha. I am determined not to go into my 20p jar for DD's lunch money and that is why I have put the figure in my signature. I think that as I am part-time I might be entitled to get free school dinners, I should look into that.
Wow this post is long, sorry.
Take care.
Lil

Hey Lil,
Pleased to see you're positive and that you only had a little slide, you've done well to only increase your debt a tiny bit and you're already back on top of it so I know you'll be all over it in no time.
Exciting for you DD birthday again, hope you had a lovely weekend and good time at the party! I just updated my thread and mentioned about a guy I met at the weekend - I think its safer to be single! Less heartache!

Just to let you know I am still here and I've been lurking around a bit tonight. I hate these dark nights, they make me feel so fed up.
Anyway its a New Year. Sorry its late but Happy New Year to you all. Haven't increased my debt over christmas which is a good thing.
I've only just noticed the time so will post again tomorrow to let you know what I have been up to.
Take care.

Hi Everyone
Well I've started the New Year off under £10k at last woo hoo:j:j
Let the debt busting continue. Back to work on Monday after two weeks off, this is the longest time I have ever been off over christmas.
Had an afternoon down the allotment as it was like a spring day here today, there were so many people down there and it was really nice to catch up with everyone.
Had a quiet christmas and new year and this is the second weekend I have stayed in so I have saved some money already.
Also....again I am going to try and quit smoking. I am going for one of the electronic cigarettes this time. I had the chance to use one on a night out and managed all night without going for a cigarette. Really determined this time. Fingers crossed.
Not much else to report at the start of the new year apart from I didn't get my Mark Darcy over christmas so I'm still single lol.
Hope you are all well.
Take care.
Lil

Hi Guys
Another nice afternoon spent down the allotments today. I checked what number I was on the list and I have shot up loads in the last twelve months so fingers crossed by the end of this year or maybe into next year I might have my own little plot.
I've been thinking over the last couple of months, well since I lost my full time job, about starting a little on line business selling craft items. I love crafting so have a fair bit of knowledge about it too.
I was going to set up an e-bay shop at first and then maybe progress to getting my own web page. But then I suppose you have all the hassle of doing advertising etc. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge on the best way to go or which sites are the best to get a web page started??
I have all the info about where I can get my stock from and also have some good contacts from the last job that I worked at for packaging etc.
Just want to start small first so any advice much appreciated.
Back to work tomorrow after two weeks off, not paid, so it has been a struggle. I've managed to keep up to date with my DD's and have found the best way to do my shopping. We go to Mr A every Saturday so on a Friday I go through my cupboards and see what I need, log on to their web site, find all the items I want and add them to my basket then just print it out and only buy what is on the list. I have managed to stick to it the last couple of weeks so pretty chuffed about that.
Hope everyone has a good week.
Take care.
Lil

Happy New year!!!
Congrats on starting the new year under £10k thats ace news! Really good luck on giving up smoking you can do it and think how much quicker the debt will come down not to mention health benefits. I used to have a crafty cig on nights out until I heard a statistic that every 15 cigarattes you smoke causes a cell mutation and those mutations can cause cancer! Scary!
Take care

Hi Guys
Well I'm two days into not smoking and I am so pleased that I haven't even had one. Ok I'm using the vapour cig but I haven't used it as much as I thought I would.
And....Due to not smoking, I have had my first NSD of the year
:j
I'm really excited about this year now, hopefully get a lot of my debt paid off with the money that I will save and to hear DD say she is proud of me is the only incentive that I need.
Not much else to report yet. Payday on Monday so will update sig when I have paid a couple of payments that are due.
Hope you have all had a good weeknd.
Take care.

Hi Guys
The title says it all really. This is going to be the last post that I am putting on this diaryIt seems that my ex loves spending his time looking through all the diaries on here to try and find me instead of spending time with his new family.
So....its been a good twelve months getting to know you all and I will stay in touch with private messaging but I really can't be bothered in setting up a new user name etc and starting a new diary cos he will just spend more of his time trying to find me. I think what I am trying to say is GET A LIFE!!
If I find out the user name that you have set up so that you know when I am logging on, I will report you as I know you will read this, you won't be able to resist!!
So LG and MT and any other people that I have been in touch with regular, I will still PM you to find out how you are getting along.
Its been nice being on here, shame someone has to ruin it
Take care all.
Bye.
Lil
