Well I've just now pressed the 'submit' button. After having to make several phone calls today to try and get some sense about what their small print actually meant.
I was sick of the sight of the thing so retreated to the duvet with the laptop and a book and relaxed for a few hours before finally writing the statement. Still not entirely happy with it but it covers the main points and it's done.
I had just saved it all and was going to wait and see whether they actually gave me an answer tomorrow morning before pressing the button, but when I logged into email to send myself a copy of the statement a lovely lovely person had answered my question at past 11pm. I send them much good karma :A
Of course now I can't sleep so will read for a bit and pet the moggies who are both on the duvet - little one curled up with her tail over her nose and big mog sprawled upside down - too cute.

Fingers crossed ......RosaBernicia wrote: »Of course now I can't sleep so will read for a bit and pet the moggies who are both on the duvet - little one curled up with her tail over her nose and big mog sprawled upside down - too cute.
*sigh* I live in hope that this may happen one day in my house ... I'd love to have them both in a room (let alone on my bed!) together. They're fighting all the time just now- don't know what's upset the balance again (well - big cat's not been going out so think someone's had a go at him ..... which means he probably feels like he needs to show wee cat he's still boss and make himself feel a bit better).
Hope they settle down soon as it's a PITA.....Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Moggies have batted each other and hissed occasionally but nothing serious - they seem to just ignore each other rather than fight.
Bit worried about big mog as it looks like he threw up his breakfast and has just done the same with his tea. He seems in fine form otherwise so will give him something different tonight and hope he just ate a dodgy mouse. Will see how he is tomorrow.
Got the email confirming my submission, so now it's just waiting to hear if I get an interview. Think I should do, but if they don't give me one it's their loss. Oddly I have been tidying up my desk anf files for a few weeks now, including today, and sorting things... it does feel like it's time for me to move on, just not sure how or where yet.
And my duplex scanner arrived today, so I can get that set up over the weekend and start taming the Paper Monster. Debating whether to Ebay the old one, but it's a bit temperamental so might just charitize it rather than risk bad feedback on first go.

I bet you say that to all the boys.RosaBernicia wrote: »Oddly I have been tidying up my desk anf files for a few weeks now, including today, and sorting things... it does feel like it's time for me to move on, just not sure how or where yet.
How is easy - get another job.

So long as you are upfront about the scanner being tempremental you can still sell it on Fleabay. Plenty of people looking for spares / repairs.
hope mog is ok - plain chicken and rice in order it sounds likeFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

mog is fine now thanks - when I thought about it, realised he'd kept down the dry food ok so just gave him more of that last night and he's been fine with a different flavour of the same make today. Seem to remember he wasn't keen on that flavour before so maybe it just disagrees with him. Am going to try them on Butchers for a while as little mog's tum is much improved but still not quite there - vet's only suggestion was to try various expensive diets from them for a few weeks at a time each  none of which are grain-free and I'm a bit worried about setting her back more by switching to cereal again (it takes time for their gut enzymes to adjust).
I should have known better than to buy cat food in bulk on offer...... may have large stock of expensive Bozita hanging around...

*wipes brow* - I knew it couldn't be just me!:)
Am I allowed to link to other forums?
I'm on another that has a "food swap / sell" thread.
I managed to sell some Bozita and RC the other week - really straight-forward as the buyer paid through Pay*pal, I sent it off (have also found cheap courier who'll collect from the house!:T) and that's it.... everyone happy!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Had a nice day wandering out to furniture warehouse with a friend (it's sort of TKMaxx for furniture) and then to another bed shop. The warehouse didn't have anything I liked (well I managed to talk myself out of buying the £100 quilt I loved) but I have now seen a really nice bedstead in Feather & Black - not the cheapest around, but on sale and just about what I was looking for, very plain and simple. So may have a think about that. I don't think I can afford to get the mattress at the same time, even though I do desperately need to replace mine, so might get the bedstead first and wait to get the mattress later.
Spent £55 in WaitRosa but that included some household bits, £10 on frozen chicken breasts, stocking up on favourite chocolate and stuff for next weeks' lunches. I was spending £3 a day last week when I ended up going out for sandwiches so really want to get back to taking stuff in.
Tomorrow is two lots of coffee with friends and Christmas shopping - suddenly realised am going north on Friday so better get it sorted :rotfl::rotfl:
Oh and have a confession - I spent £38 on a book . I have been wanting the last book in the Hovel in the Hills series for ages but it's really rare so is expensive even via Amazon. Finally decided to buy it for myself as a Christmas treat so I can read it on the train journey north. Will put some money towards it out of holidays pot but am really looking forward to it so actually think to me it is worth the daft price. Now just hoping it arrives in time - but even if not it will be a treat when I get back.

Hmmmm. £180 left for the rest of the month.:rotfl:
That's not including presents, I am reasonably well stocked with everything except fresh veg, and will be fed by relatives on Sunday and lunch on expenses for 2/3 days of the following week. But I do have to eat out on Friday and Saturday, and on the following Saturday if the friends who haven't confirmed yet do visit. I probably don't need to visit other relatives nearer Christmas after all as they're going away, so that saves a big petrol bill.
Oh well, it's December, it was never going to be easy. I can always pay for my madly expensive Hovel book out of my holiday money (it arrived today and I've hidden it under the other stuff to pack to stop myself reading it til I get on the train). And I can always cut the OD reduction payment down to £50 instead of £100 - it's still progress.
In other news, there's a maternity cover vacancy at work just been advertised. It's a grade up from my current job and I fit the person spec so am going to go for it. It would mean walking out on some interesting projects I've been setting up, but if nobody's prepared to pay me properly for my input then I'll go and do something else interesting. Having a chat with the current person soon - I know her already and she's lovely, and she knows my skills too. So I hope she's interviewingWish me luck as the extra money would really speed up the debtbusting.
