So you're not going for forceful, lusty or well-built then? :rotfl:
The first two on occasion, the last depends what for
I wouldn't be flattered to be described as broken, coarse, craggy, difficult, furrowed, harsh, hilly, irregular, jagged, leathery, lumpy, mountainous, ragged, rocky, rough, roughhewn, scabrous, scraggy, stark, uneven, unlevel, unpolished, unrefined, unsmooth, weather-beaten, worn, wrinkled. Fair point.Tell them to go stuff themselves. The records will update in a few weeks anyway.
I didn't quite... but will not be paying them £12, I don't need to move balances urgently so can wait a while.

Enjoy your excitement. It's a milestone passed. :TRosaBernicia wrote: »Have now checked up exact balances, disbursed £5 Quidco payment, and emptied the piggybanks I thought only had pennies in (delighted to actually get a total of £6.34, clearly I had a £2 coin saving phase I'd forgotten about)
You should save like I do. On the floor under your bed. I got over £20...
Of course you need Amazing Shrapnel Spilling Trousers to be able to do this, which may be a problem.RosaBernicia wrote: »in order to make necessary payments and still keep the rest of my budget intact. So far spreadsheet says I should make it by £4 :rotfl: but am hoping for a bit more of a margin as have allowed for another £100 coming out of the current account - not quite sure when mobile phone debit will hit, and need some food shopping, but can keep that minimal and will be having cheap weekend of study and allotment. Fingers crossed
We'll be watching...RosaBernicia wrote: »Oh and have found out don't have to move next April as office will be staying where it is :T that makes life a little less complicated.
That is good news. The last thing you want is for your office to be moved to some forsaken place like Hell.

There is nothing wrong with hilly women. In fact there's a couple of things dead right with hilly women.RosaBernicia wrote: »irregular,

Item just sold on Amazon though which will declutter a box OUT of the flat and hopefully bring about £11 IN to the kill-the-£10K fund :T
Fortunately the bank letter this morning told me they are renewing my overdraft. Am hoping to clear it or reduce to the interest free bit anyway (depending on car service bill) when the money from Gran comes through, and think I will reduce the limit after that.

*sneaks in to apologise for not having posted for awhile passes slice of emergency pizza*
Rosa, I love your emergency pizza idea. I've just made (well almost burnt) my emergency £2.25 pizza in 10 mins that would normally have taken 30-60 for delivery company. Takes sooo much better too xxxxx
Congrats on the new milestone, you must be sooo ruddy chuffedxxx

So you've almost burned a pizza and it still tastes much better than takeaway pizzas...

LOL glad to be of service
Though since I've discovered these emergency meals sold locally, I may be broadening the emergency-stuff-in-freezer options. I figure so long as it's cheaper than a takeaway and healthier I still win, and it saves a lot of stress. (My takeaway option at the last house was about £4 and could be collected, sadly now I would have to walk 20 min or drive, so even more reason not to do it.) Of course, pasta only takes 10 mins as well but it feels like I'm having to cook.
One day I will have enough time to make batches and freeze my own stuff, but for now, just getting fed on those emergency-work-late/ not-well days is progress over eating biscuits and going to bed.
