Is there something wrong with that, because most of my stuff is as well - apart from work clothes and trousers....

That's what happens when you go for style. I went for T-shirts 1-50... ;)

It's more a case that they're too small. I went for jeans & tshirts too :)

I'm lucky in that they all still fit (at least as well as they ever did). I've stil got an original Red Dwarf T shirt (uncensored) which gets a trip out from time to time. It may be older than some people reading this...

  • Hm, am planning a girlie weekend with a friend so may get her to help me go through the 'debatable' stuff (and she will tell me her opinion, though hopefully throwing things won't be necessary).

I liberated a dress last summer that I've had and loved since I was 15. One of the girls in L*sh also loved it and asked where I got it... I realised when I walked out of the shop that's it's probably about her age :rotfl:

I have had a nice chilled weekend thanks, now the only problem is I don't want to go back to work :(:rotfl:

  • Wrote post, got distracted by NCIS, lost post ... in summary: flat getting unpacked, love having freezer, work good, need to try and sleep normal hours so can work normal hours as getting to feel guilty about missing time early on and fed up of not leaving work til 7. Oh and paid off British Geese so hopefully never have to deal with them again *icon barred by forum rules*

  • What did people do about old flames before the internet was invented? It can't be just me who has to resist looking up info I have no real need to know - can it? :o

Fate (if it was meant to work then we wouldn't have lost touch) vs free will (if it could work, why not take control and do something about it) and common sense... there were reasons we're not in touch any more but then again there are reasons I think of him... input, anybody?

    I manage it... :p;)

It's the fear of the unknown/perceived hassle (i.e. having to go out and find someone else) vs. nostalgia (i.e. the rosy tinted look into the past).

It's similar to when you're getting rid of a car because it's unreliable, then you start wishing for your first car because it was wonderful. Despite the fact that in actuallity it was an unreliable POS that would never start if there was even a single cloud in the sky.

This is combined with modern relationship "gurus" who emphasise "miscommunication leads to breakups" when in actuallity, the people in question got the message, understood the message, and then said "sling your hook" because they didn't *like* the message...

Now I must admit, that I tend to linger with ex-friends too long (even into the openly taking the rise stage) myself, as I don't make friends easily, but I am getting better...

Only sometimes, and usually only after a blow to the head...
