And I don't know which provider you are referring to so may be wrong, but are you getting confused with 141 which witholds your number...? AFAIK 1471 doesn't turn on CLIm, in fact it is the voicemail number for BT....

and back on topic, again, i'd recommend hullomail to anyone with a blackberry, android or iphone. And for me it is free to divert to on my t-mobile sim only plan. so worth checking out.0
