Hullomail works fine with my T mobile sim only plan. No charges for diverts to their service.

Make sure you don`t dial the T mobile voicemail or 121 by mistake as it can trigger their automatic voicemail setup by text system and put the T-mobile voicemail settings back on your phone.

I use HulloMail with T-Mobile on my iPhone, never been charged once in over 12 months of using it, but I thought it used your data to access it, the divert to the 03xxxxx number is included in my unlimited landline calls to 01, 02 & 03 numbers.

The calling your own number doesn't work with T-Mobile, I tried that first.

The other option is to get your voicemail turned off, you will than get a free text stating 'X' number called, so you can call them back; but will calling someone back that didn't need to be cost more than the voicemail stating something you didn't really need to know.

I normally call my own number to access voicemail, and have always been charged for it.

Turning off voicemail isn't an option as everyone at work has a withheld number, so I wouldn't have a clue who'd called me without a message.

I have a Nokia N95 8GB so not sure if I'd be able to use Hullomail as it's getting on a bit now! I'll have a look into it, thank you or pointing it out. I'm on a 30 day sim only rolling contract now, so if it continues to be a problem then I can easily (in theory!) change networks.

Just another post to confirm that my hullomail service diverts to an 01xxx (local geographic to me) number and it takes it out of my landline minutes allowance.

I've never had to pay anything extra for picking up my voicemails via the phone, or as the other psoter stated, you can pick up on email via the phone or your home computer.

Big thumbs up from me for hullomail.

Thanks Banger9365, but turning it off isn't an option. I don't always have the number of the people who are calling in the first place, so a message is quite vital to being able to get in touch with them if I need to return a call. I've never heard of 4 numbers to show a withheld number?

Ahh, I didn't realise that was possible, thank you. But not much chance of my collegues doing that everytime they called just for me to avoid voicemail charges.

Not strictly true... if it is a commercial workplace calling with their own phone system then it is a system setting whether to withhold the number or not, you cannot override it.

And I don't know which provider you are referring to so may be wrong, but are you getting confused with 141 which witholds your number...? AFAIK 1471 doesn't turn on CLIm, in fact it is the voicemail number for BT....
