Have you had difficulty resolving problems with Ebay or Paypal?

I'm with one of the other posters, I can't say I have really had problems with ebay or paypal- mine have always been with other users.
I did have a problem with paypal this summer which was entirely my fault though- I typed my paypal id incorrectly in the box and tried to add the 'wrong' address to my paypal so I could claim the payment. It wouldn't work and i couldn't understand why- and paypal on that occasion were absolutely brilliant, they had no idea either why it didn't work but we had a really good chat and a laugh- and then it fixed itself.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. You seem to have some kind of agenda, so it is understandable if people have found a problem with that. I can't even ascertain if you have ever used Ebay or Paypal.SuedeHead69 wrote: »I asked politely in previous earlier postings if you would all kindly respect others with this poll by not influencing them but you guys really like to cause trouble.
While my original posting as a newbie was not intended to upset anyone even though it has, and I have apologised for that you guys really have behaved totally inappropriately and out of all proportion.
You say you want to disband the poll, so perhaps you could explain where you are coming from with conducting it.
Are you researching for a company?
Have you ever used Ebay or Paypal?
Have you had a complaint with them?
Was it resolved to your satisfaction?
Do you still have an Ebay account?
Have you ever sold on Ebay?
Do you have an axe to grind?
Do you enjoy using polls?.0 -
I asked the agenda on the other poll* and no response. It seems odd to join MSE and serve your whole posting career n two polls which you start about EBay problems.
* at time of post there were only two.0 -

Give it time...
Hmm, is this a new way the Daily Mail does research I wonder, will we see expose headlines on Saturday about thousands of people who have had problems with ebay/paypal complaining on a website?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Sorry, but the OP is clearly on a wind-up or personal agenda so hard to take seriously. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -

Sold an item on eBay and received payment via Paypal. By pure coincidence it turned out the winner was someone I knew personally. I still sent her the item (to her address in the USA as registered on PP). She then claimed INR due to being skint and thinking I wouldn't mind despite me telling her not to do this. I provided POP and also her forum posts (on a different forum) about getting the item for free and still PP refunded her. I ended up losing my eBay account and as I had already withdrawn the money, PP quadrupled the debt and it'll take til I think 2014 for it to be Statute Barred as there is no way on earth I will pay it. So, it's kind of ruined my life as my credit rating is screwed so I can't, for example, go for certain jobs I would otherwise want to, like working in a bank or mobile phone shop, and I also have to have a guarantor for renting a home.
Not wanting to bat for paypal, but how can they have quadrupled the debt, and when has Paypal *ever* ruined anyone's credit rating?
That's the one bonus with paypal "debts", about the worst thing that will happen is DCA ringing up now and then."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Why would anyone be upset? Frustrated at your lack of transparency perhaps, or angered by the way you have appeared from nowhere and are making demands of forum users. I assure you no one is crying over your polls.
Until you state the reasons you are asking these questions and to what end you are likely to meet a lot of resistance. If you want honest feedback you need to be honest as to your motives. It may sometimes seem like I can't spell, I can, I just can't type0
