I generally find the problems are with the buyer or the seller, not Ebay or Paypal. Can you elaborate?0

I completely agree with this.theonlywayisup wrote: »I generally find the problems are with the buyer or the seller, not Ebay or Paypal.
I have had no reason to contact Paypal so far but have had to contact ebay a few times and have always found them very helpful (except the live chat that I gave up using ages ago!)0 -

No.. there is no need to elaborate
Simply have you or not had problems with either Ebay or Paypal OR both
It's a poll only.
And the multiple choices are very clearly displayed
There are plenty of other links on this board to discuss the merits or problems with both buyers and sellers0 -

The poll was not displayed when I replied.
And in any case, every poll has a thread below. It's a free forum, so people will ask/say what they wish, not what you demand.
I am not interested in other links on the board, I have been here a fair bit over the years.
Attitude will get you nowhere.

Sorry OP, but you cannot demand its a poll only! Its a public forum where people are free to comment on any thread or poll they wish.0

I agree...but the why's and wherefore of Ebay and Paypal problems are discussed over and over again on other threads because each persons experience differs from the next.
A poll should be completely unbiased and without outside pressures or influences of discussion from either you or I
As I am sure you well appreciate0 -
I appreciate what you are saying but then I would suggest that a public forum is probably not the best place to run such a poll. You would be very lucky indeed to run a poll on a forum without any comments being posted.SuedeHead69 wrote: »A poll should be completely unbiased and without outside pressures or influences of discussion from either you or I0 -
I appreciate what you are saying but then I would suggest that a public forum is probably not the best place to run such a poll. .
But ultimately its the public who are using both Ebay and Paypal and in order to get a clear picture of the service given by these organisations it really is important not to try to influence others.
For example, you could easily work for either Ebay or Paypal or have interests in trying to persuade others to vote to your way of thinking and that is another reason to try to just keep this as a poll only to allow others to express themeselves through a public poll in an unbiased manner.
I ask both you and others to please respect the reasons for this. No offence or attitude intended.:beer:0 -
OP. You cannot open a thread with a poll and then ask people not to post. IMHO saying exactly that just encourages the opposite.
And NO poll is unbiased. Look at your own questions (and thanks Strapped) how you can answer them! I go back to what I say. It is usually the buyer or seller who has/and causes problems not the platform they are using.0
