maybe Tinsel suits her?
Just to say that she is really lovely & I'm sure you are all really lucky to have found each other. And, for what it's worth, I think she looks exactly like a Tinsel!0 -

Ah, I see
Anyway, I (like Ginger Poodle) also thinks that Tinsel is a lovely sweet name, and very unusual ... I don't think you will be hearing anybody else shouting that in the parkSome days I wake up Grumpy ... Other days I let him lie in.0 -
I've always found that naming dogs is a bit of a lottery. I seem to have had dogs who have taken on the name as their main characteristic, so now I chose names very carefully! I once had a Doberman called Digger who didnt dig the garden... but she had dreadful separation anxiety (and I was a SAH mum at the time!). She dug through walls, floors, doors... Then I had a Heinz 57 called Gypsy, who would wander whenever he saw an open door! So now Oakley is very steady and solid, Sid is just.... well, Sid!0

We have named our new male puppy Edward. The first 3 letters of his name are the first letter of our 3 christian names. It's nice that it means something to all of us.
We quite liked the idea of a human name and thought we could shorten it to Eddie or Teddy.0 -
Our lab is called Bramble, we named him after Wilfred Brambell and his name suits him to a tee.

If you did call her Tinsel, I bet you would end up calling her Tin-sy, and there's nothing wrong with that. Calling 'Tinsel' down the park wouldn't appeal to me.0 -
I think it's far easier naming boys. Charlie is a good one as it suits everyone. We named our all black cat Charlie after the journey home. She just wouldn't be quiet and so reminded us of the 70's advert with the cartoon boy and cat, teaching us the green cross code; 'charlie says remember to look left and right' etc etc (sorry, i'm rambling).
Totally agree with having a list of names and waiting 'til you get home to see what fits; Evie is nice though.0 -
