£96.13 landed this morning from a combination of another bingo win, tcb and amazon sale. Made up the £225 and op this morning so goodbye June 2031 :j

Next target is £230 to see off May 2031.

Also requested £20 amazon from DY which will add to my balance and buy DD1's new curtains for her bedroom.

Payday today and all totals updated. A combination of next month's standard payment and a couple of bits have taken us through the next £1k bracket so we're now in the £76's :j

Two charity bags fell through the letter box today so I have filled those ready to go out at the end of the week. Also managed to sell one of DD2's old toys that she has grown out of so £10 for the pot.

Despite not posting for over a month  I have still been saving, squirreling etc and in March we OP'd £230 which said goodbye to May 2031.

Next target is another £230 which will say goodbye to April 2031 and we plan on making that payment near the end of April.

I've got a little stack of items to get on ebay but have been so busy at work that extra income has been taking a back step.

I have a little plan in mind to save some Amazon vouchers from DY to go towards dd's bday pressie in June and am using Chow to pay for a day out for dd's bday as well in June.

SP and SB going OK, can always go better though. Had a good run last month on the bingo and netted just over £150 I think which helped a lot.

Hiya yukki, good to see you back

You've already said goodbye to May 2031, so did you mean your next target is to say goodbye to April 2031, or is it like Groundhog Day & you keep on having to say goodbye to the same month?! :rotfl:

It had better not be groundhog day lol, can you imagine. I've changed it to say April now, thanks for pointing that out.

Off swimming today, hoping to encourage dd to swim alone. There may be a treat in it for her if she does it.

Swimming went well, so money was spent, but well worth the look on her face.
Money seems to be flowing out quite quickly this month and there doesn't seem to be a lot left in the usualy budgets which has caused for some rejigging. Ah well, that's what the reserves are there for i guess.

I'm working towards our OP target of £230 this month. Currently if everything arrives in time, I am £100 short so am going to take advantage of the free listing this w/e on ebay and get some bits on to help declutter the house at the same time.

It's been a while, and as a result my focus has been lost a lot, and I need to get it back.
There have been minimal overpayments in the last couple of months of *ahem* £20. We've been doing some decorating, had a couple of birthdays, and I've generally let the money saving and earning slip a lot, so it's time to jump back on the wagon and step it up a gear.

I have been getting better at meal planning and taking my own lunch to work so that has been a step in the right direction. I've also just started getting a fruit and veg box delivered again which I'm trying to decide whether it's worth the money, and whether I can eek it out of the grocery budget.

I've been looking at my spreadsheets and June 1st's balance is sitting at £76,043.06 so you can guess the first OP to be made there can't you :rotfl:

Half term this week and a couple of days out planned, one of which will be expensive, but it has been planned as a treat so will go with it.

Hoping today will be a NSD and there will be some decluttering and ebay listing as it's free listing weekend.

I would love to see the balance drop to £69,999.99 by 31st December 2012, which leaves me with £4,656 to find after the standard payments. To attempt to achieve this I have cleared a savings account to add small amounts etc into and will OP as much as we are allowed / can manage. Not sure if we'll be able to achieve this but I'll give it a damn good go.
