Morning all
Hester - do you have the small Kindle or one with keyboard? If it's the small one can you let me know what cover you got as I'm looking for one.
Ceridwyn - fab love your cover!
Julie - fingers crossed for OH
NPM - you do what is best for you and Noah x
I had a lovely evening with the man last nightjust watched a movie and had a few drinks.
I'm having a bit of a dilemma about my uni course....we have had a few restructures in work regarding the course I deliver and it now runs 3 days per week tues-thurs, which means it will be really hard for me to attend uni properly as it's on Weds pm. I'm also really not sure if I can commit the time to it this year. I have already missed 3 wks due to hols, I'll miss 2 wks in March, and approx 3 wks due to work trips. I feel like I'll always be catching up. I'm contemplating defering it for a year or two. Or seeing if next year there is one in another college at better times. But I really love the people on my course and we are doing groupwork this year and I don't want to let people down. I need to find time to speak to my boss about my working hours, but she is off to N Wales this afternoon for few days.
OS wise - I'm going to batch cook some veggie chilli tonight, have HM soup for lunch again, DW will go on tonight.
Have a good day all

Hi everyone - not been around for a few days for various reasons.
Beemuzed - I love my Moleskine diary!
NPM - hope things start to look up for you and Noah soon. I think how you cope is truly amazing.
Beth - hugs to you.
Redruby - I hope things work out.
Well, I have loads of fiddly bits of paperwork to do and every single bit is irritating me, mainly because it's all French red tape which has just about, after two and a half years, driven me completely round the bend! I have no idea how the country functions but it definitely makes the UK look super-efficient! I keep having to walk away from my desk, so not a lot is getting done.
Dinner tonight is salad, quiche and potatoes - exactly what we had last night, just the leftovers. I thought DH wouldn't want the same thing two days running but, in true MSE style, he says 'if it means it won't get eaten, we'll have it again - we can't waste it'! How well-trained he is now!
Anyway, I think I'll go and have another coffee before tackling some more paperwork.
Take care, everyone

Flutterby - hope you get it sorted
Ceridwyn - GORGEOUS cover - I want one!
Everyone else who needs a hug - please take one ((((((or more!))))))
I'm so proud of myself - am on the up after a horrendous couple of weeks with DS1 - which means the house has gone to rack & ruin - literally - not one room is tidy. BUT NOW!!!! after having thrown out loads of rubbish and cleared out and sold DS1s bed - and put his new one up - his room is finished. YIPEEEEEEE. After I've finished this coffee I'll move on to my room (as I've sold the bedroom furniture and its being picked up tonight!) and then to DS2s room. At some point I must pick dogs up from kennels and cat from vets, but we'll see. Dinner tonight is pasta & meatballs - as promised to the boys last night. Will have to cheat though and get sauce from a jar.
Waiting to hear if our offer has been accepted on the house we saw at the weekend - part of me hopes it has, part of me hopes it hasn't. We'll see. xxMe, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx
March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.0 -

Morning all! :grouphug: to all who want or need them. To those of you feeling poorly, overworked, stressed or all three, try and take it easy today xx
Ceirdwyn - love the tardis cover, fab idea!
Lou - read your blog, you sound more positve today, hope that's not just a smokescreen. Try not to bite any heads off.
Today it's grey and damp here. Didn't need Fred to tell me the weather this morning, littlest cat dived on the bed, soggy and muddy, at 6am to inform me of the weather
Had HM fruit bread toasted for breakfast, yum, think I will be making some more tonight. HM soup for lunch and HM fishcakes for tea. Domestic goddess? Nah, it'll never last!
Not much is happening today here, done all my work tasks already so I guess it's just going to be another long day waiting for hometime to arrive at 5.30pm.
Hope you all have a lovely day xx0 -
I knitted my kindle case...
Because the kindle is only small, but it can hold a whole library; it's bigger on the inside!:p
That's brilliant you could market them at a craft stall i think especially to Dr Who fans.I really think to cough up £30.00 for a cover is a bit steep.I bought my kindle quite awhile ago and it cost me £149.99.I should have hung on a bit but I was so impressed by them.Brilliant to have in the car or take on holiday.I sadly don't live very near to any Poundland shops or I would get a clip on light but hey ho its not that important.I have lots of classic books on my Kindle which meant I could clear some room on my bookshelves I still get library books and books from the charity shop as I am a real bookworm and I don't think there is a room in my house that hasn't got books in including the loo:)
I can lose myself in a book completely.I am reading Victoria Hislops novel 'The Return' about the Spanish civil war and its very good.I also belong to a Book Club which meets in the local library every alternate Monday .Great finding out how different folk view a book.
Well lunch is going to be parsnip and apple soup, and I shall finish off the cheese and mushroom quiche I made on Sunday with some salad. Then I must rustle up some coconut cookies for my grandsons as a treat.Have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

I keep telling him to get some legal advice, honestly I could tell you some horror stories about her, with her perfect house, and the kids starving and filthy dirty, there is never a loo roll or soap or washing up liquid in the house, she is only concerned about what people will think of the house !!
I have no idea how the country functions but it definitely makes the UK look super-efficient! I keep having to walk away from my desk, so not a lot is getting done.
Kathy honestly is not mush better here, I have this morning made my 4th phone call to a solicitor, she keeps sending me a form to sign with my name and address spelt wrong !!! drives me mad !!0
