What do you consider reasonable travel time to work and back? And is that by public transport or driving?

Well it could be reasonable to the Job Centre which is 90 minutes each way by whichever means of transport you use. To me, my 25 minute walk to work is much more reasonanble.0

I'm just wondering what peoples general commute is.
Mine has always been ridiculous, probably a big contributor as to why I never maintain jobs.
Today I started at 11:30, to do so I have to set off at 9:50... I get into work at 10:30...... I asked if they'd let me start at 12 which would mean I set off at 10:50 and get there for 10:40... They said no....
Tonight I will finish at 8pm, will get the bus to town and be there at half 8, my bus to where I live does then not come until 9:20 and takes ten minutes and I'll get home at half 9. 50 minutes of tossing it off in the bus station

I would not want to travel for more than an hour each way. I've had a long commute before and it ruined my life.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

How long did you do that for?

My commute averages about an hour each way by car. I have had jobs with about 5 mins drive but accept that these days needs must.Today is the first day of the rest of your life0
