I'm in a similarly annoying predicament with them: they approved my application online but did not approve the balance transfer I had submitted, which was the entire point of applying for this card.

Thank you for your posts. We're sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your applications. We can confirm there has been some unplanned system outages impacting applications, however, they have now been fixed.
The telephone number provided by stclair is correct for our Central Review Team. However, this team only deal with fraudulent applications and therefore will be unable to assist you with the progress of your application. To check the progress of our application, please contact our Application Enquiries Team on 0845 766 0758. They are open 8am-8pm Monday-Friday & 8am-2pm on Saturdays.

The Central Application Review Team are based in the UK.
I got to speak with someone in India from cutomer services.
I called the freephone number and not the 0844/0845 numbers.
Shame Barclaycard have to try to make money out of us when largely most of the problems are their making.
I am not going to spend loads of money on the phone chasing it up.
I may or may not lcose my account depending on how it goes, but so far I'm not impressed.0 -
LOL!!!! The number given is the same as the 0800 number on the website!!! total SCAM to earn money calling 0845 number !!!!
Still, my application is open since 16th. They say someone is looking at it since 23rd. How long do they need to say yes or no??!!! My credit report can't be that complicated!!!0
