Morning all
happy birthday Hester (for today/tomorrow/or whenever it is!) - hope you get a Kindle!mumto2boys wrote: »We are off to Cardiff arena on Tuesday to see Lee Evans, anyone know if there is a suitable (good but cheap) place to eat within walking distance from there, wetherspoons maybe?
Mumto2boys - there are loads of places to eat near there (including a Hooters!! :rotfl:). The arena is right near the St David's shopping complex which has lots of restaurants like Wagamama, GBK, Jamie's Italian, Nando's, Pizza Express and many more - see here. There are about 4 Wetherspoons in Cardiff but they are all a bit further away from where you are going, nearer the main train station. Hope this helps!
I had the most weird dreams last night, think it's the jet lag still playing with my mind. And I'm still very confused to wake up in my own bed! :rotfl:
Todays plans include catching up on uni workboo! And then tonight I'm seeing my man
, hopefully things will go well after not seeing him for 4 weeks!
Not much OS planned, need to do a freezer inventry and take something out for my lunch tomorrow. Oh and I need to finish unpacking!
Have a great day all

Happy Birthday Hester!
Morning all!! Easy day for me today, stew is in the slow cooker (minus lea and perrins and oxo cubes, need to go to waitrose when it opens!) Wash 1. is in the machine, and I will clean the house room by room shortly, then I plan to watch movies all afternoon.
Went out for dinner again for OH's dad's birthday, then OH and I made a cheese, pickled onion and bread platter last night!! Need to stop that and get back on track with diet.
Need to meal plan for this week too.Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Morning All
Happy Birthday Hester! (Not sure if you are having your celebration meal today and your birthday's tomorrow). Hope you enjoy yourselves this afternoon, Gazebo sounds fab.
I took Louis the overgrown pup out this morning before it was completely light so I just put on a fleece over my pjs and a pair of wellies on my feet! Can't go far with his broken leg but at least he feels he's been out. At 8 months old he has a lot of energy to get rid of but the vet says he hasn't to go far. Poor thing, I feel so sorry for him.
Need to phone friends who moved house later, we were skipping and their DD forgot to jump the rope (huge and really too heavy for skipping) we were turning and it took the legs from under her. She went flying and landed on the concrete on her face. A visit to A&E for a check up and she will be fine but I bet she has 2 black eyes. Not a good look for a very girly 6 year old!
May start clearing the downstairs bedroom ready for painting, I'm thinking of moving DS2 down there as he only has a small room with a double bed in it so it's a bit cramped. I know he rarely comes home but it would be better for him.
Hope you all have good Sundays. Take care. XX0 -

Morning All,
Hester, happy birthday for tomorrow. I hope you get a kindle too. It is one of the best things I've ever bought for myself. So much easier to read in bed, than having to hold a big clumpy book.
I managed to do my laundry and tidy up the house yesterday. Today I went to meet a friend for a spot of shopping, as it was absolutely freezing today and I dont actually own any winter clothes. (the trouble with moving around so much, is you end up only packing for one season).
I didnt buy much in the end, just a nice big wool scarf. The trip ended on a bit of downer though. My friend told me that our other friend is apparently p!!!ed off with me for no reason except that she thinks I am upset with her. Instead of maybe asking me about it, she has decided that the best way to go about it is to b!tch about me to anyone and everyone! I cannot understand people like this, I feel like this happens when you are in high school and I just do not have the energy to have a stupid petty fight over nothing. If i knew more people here it would probably be far easier to just cut her out of my life. Who needs enemies, if you have people like that as your friends? But i dont know many people, so I suppose I will have to find out what the real story is. Its just so childish to behave like this though and it really infuriates me.:mad::mad:
If im honest I think the reason she is b!tching about me is probably because I have been quiet and the past couple of weeks due to my break up and she is quite self absorbed and self centred, and she had no one to talk to about herself. :rotfl:
Sorry just needed to rant a bit.
Enjoy your Sunday everyone.

Morning All
Horrible headache here this morning - particularly when I cough....which is quite often with this lurgy! Also think it could be down to having no diet coke/alcohol/sugar for three days but hopeully its just a temporary side effect!
Although i've been 'good' for three days yesterday was my first day ollowing the SW menu plan and I was quite impressed with the meals but I didn;t eat everything it told me to eat and last night I was hungry so I'll have to make an effort to eat more today.
Have dinner to make and a bit of washing but might just veg out with the kids while DH is at work this afternoon and find a christmas film or two!

Morning all,
Bright day here, but very damp, I have had to go around wiping condensation off of the windows, it was dripping off.
Bedding in the wm, will get that on the line in a mo, Oh is at the boot sale, and dd in the shower, so peaceful here.
Its my mums birthday today, so I will be seeing her at some point, we were thinking of lunch out, but OH's wages did not go in, will be tomorrow apparantly.
Dinner today will be chicken legs, salad and bread and butter, nice and easy.
Need to have a good clean through today, and maye make some cakes.
Hester, have a good day with your family, ( I think its her Birthday tomorrow)
Lou, glad you enjoyed your evening with DH, sorry he did not stay, but baby steps xx
Have good days all xx0 -
Morning All,
Happy Birthday for tomorrow Hester, hope you enjoy today and like your pressie
FB Hope you enjoy today with your man
FMW she's not worth worrying about, who needs friends like that. As I get older I find I really can't be bothered with people in my life who cause me grief, once upon a time I would have bent over backwards to keep everyone happy, as you get older you realise lifes too short, I only want genuine friends around me.
Today we will nip out to buy some new cushions to match the new decorating and pop in to Mr T's for some meat. Today will be roast lamb and roast veg.
All the washing is done, just have to put it away which I hate.
DD, BF and DGS will call later so that will be nice.
Got a letter to say I have an interview for a job I applied for wks ago. So have to do a 10 min presentation and an hours test before the 45 min interview:eek: luckily I have a couple of weeks to prepare.
Otherwise I plan to do as little as possible. Have a good Sunday.Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Excellent thanks for that link, i see a few options there, gourmet burger kitchen gets my vote but its up to everyone else too lol. If we park in the arena can we walk to the complex then? I think we will steer clear of hooters, i'm not even going to tell the men its there :rotfl:StayHome * StaySafe * BeKind0
