• meet her half way and offer pound refund :P i would guess shes hoping you will refund her as its such a small amount in order to save your feedback, did she ever send a photo of the dress?

you will always get a small yet significant percentage of buyers either being picky or trying it on.

it hurts but the best thing to do on a small sale is simply refund their money, do not even waste your time asking them to return the disputed item

it is not worth the stress

maybe block them from bidding on your future auctions

just imagine their petty satisfaction at having got one over on you

rise above it they are sad sad people

• Maybe she is wanting you to offer a partial refund and also keeping the item. Have you asked her straight what would be an acceptable resolution for her.
She is playing with you with all the ace's.

Nope, if she does not want to return the dress then i am not issuing any refund, if she whinges to e-bay they will make her return the dress and i will happily refund her and most probably sell the damn dress for more next time.

Sometimes wonder why i bother with e-bay more hassle than its worth at times.:(

there are no marks on the dress, or tags, if there were i would not have sold it.
and its not the money it is the principal especially when i know she is talking steaming piles of C%@p.

Calm down. Only trying to help. Anything that distinguishes your item from an identical one is in your favour. It gives you reason to ask for it back to check it is the same one. Most scammers back off if they think there is a chance you can catch them out or prove them wrong.

You do not have to refund until she opens a case with either Paypal or eBay and even then they will tell her she has to return it for a refund. Personally I would end communication with this buyer until she goes through proper channels. She has asked for a refund and you have said when she returns it. There is not much else you can say to her, so if you're going to stick to your guns, stick to that response.

Try to think rationally about this, when the dust settles if you still have your £4.50 or you have the dress back and have refunded the buyer in a months time but she leaves negative feedback, will it have been worth it? Only you can answer that.
It may sometimes seem like I can't spell, I can, I just can't type
