I use Boots Cucumber cheapie moisturiser, it's the only one that doesnt feel like it makes my make up slide off my face. bargain for approx £1.49 :T and lasts for ages.
I considery my daily make up, foundation and finishing powder to be a necessity  to go without that would be too cruel to inflict on mankind :rotfl: mind you it's mineral powder so a little goes a long way and whereas my old liquid foundation would last 2 months tops this stuff lasts nearly 6 months :T

Me too hun:) I could never go without fake up;);)

    And you were ;)

So what are my frugal plans tomorrow? Well DD has a school disco next week and no party dress to wear (lots of summer ones mind you ;)) so. Think I may trawl the Internet for something suitable, eBay etc. Then she can wear it Christmas day. I must start making my Christmas cards too. H back to work after his motorbike accident so really have no excuses for not knuckling down to things :o. Will not spend all day on here :o:o get the usual cleaning out if he way and may have to go for some food supplies, need to check cupboards first.

  • Ok updating food shopping for this week £30.90 although I will have to go up Sainsbugs for H and get him his rubbishy low fat sausages and some ketchup. Am quite pleased it will be under £40 this week. I Will NOT be buying any other food this week, if it ain't in the cupboard them we are going without.

    Morning All

Can't validly join you, but wanted to wish you all well, and mention Aldi for moisturisers/creams. It is very good, reasonable, and keeps my older skin in check!!

Might add in from time to time, being naturally "tight" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Welcome DG would love you to join in :D

I've tried the face creams from Aldi but didn't like the way it sat on my skin so my mum benefitted from my purchases :rotfl:

CG thanks for the tip re party dresses. That's probably cheaper than eBay once you factor in cost of postage. Will take a look up there this week :D

Right frugal lunch of cheese sandwich eaten, time for a coffee and back to the grindstone, got ironing to put away (normally hangs around for half the week due to slattern ways :o), washing to put on and then down to Christmas cards........
