Yes to cutting off the cane's that fruited last year if you didn't do it last autum, what your suppose to do is cut out the cane's that have fruited that year in the autum, september is about right, and then you tie up the new cane's in the place of the old one's ready for next year. hth
I will admit to going for the layzer autum fruiting type but I now look after my Dad's summer fruiting.£71.93/ £180.000 -

It isThankfully Noah's Penniless Mummy advised me a great deal and told me to ring for the pack as they will back date it. So it did as she said and we have a sum heading our way.

So applied for carers allowance. They need to see my last two years accounts including the last 6 months I was working. Sadly the last 6 months account haven't been completed yet, it's on my to do list as working out the number of hours I worked each week is a total PITA
so need to seriously pull my finger out and get that finished so I can send it off to them. What are the chances of this happening during half term week with a puppy
Conservatory plans are finalised, hopefully work should start within a month or so. Can't come quick enough......muddy garden and little paws SEVERAL times a day is not good
Didn't have chance to, take advantage of the free listing weekend on eBay. Will have to relist another time.
Sort of still sticking to the food budget, certainly shopping at Aldi means I dont have the vast array that Mr S does and even better the speed through the check out means I am generally done in about half and hour :T
Will have to do a run to Mr S though to stock up on cat dry food, they do nice big bags there, unlike Aldi.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Luna-tic as she will forever be known is slowly trying to destroy my slippers and she doesn't even have the courtesy of waiting til I take them off  Why not play with the toys I actually bought for her <rollseyes> Puppies are sure like kids, play with the cardboard box rather than the actual toy
So second day of half term. Considering I used to do this for a living my mind has gone blank as to what to do with the kidswell thats not exactly true, I could break out the paints but I fear more leaving the kids alone with the paints unsupervised more than I fear the puddles of wee from the dog that doesn't get taken outside.
Since the biscuit tin is empty I think a baking day is in order along with if the weather is kind a walk sans dog (my mum wil puppy sit) at kids favourite place. Best things in life are free :money:
Its Valentines Day, rather unromantically H and I exchanged gifts and cards last night, my parents are having kids over night so we can have some much needed couple time. Problem is DS is declaring he doesn't want to go (apparently he wants to spend all his time with me) do I send him and risk a meltdown at bedtime with my parents house or am I really resigning myself to a life with no time with my husband before 10pm......I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Suggested work around of kids going for tea and us picking just DS up at 9pm for bedtime. It only gives us a couple of hours but as my neighbour just said does it take that long to change into your sparkly thong :rotfl::rotfl: making the best of a crappy situation.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife
