:D Don't worry, I shan't; I need my specs to read, and they steam up in the bathroom; also Mr LW is always around if I have a bath, in case I get in difficulties.;)

Well done on the boots Bitsy.:T

  • I found a good solution for the bath + Kindle potential incident - ziploc bags :D I doubt they would cope with a real soaking but a quick dip should be survivable and they are the perfect size.
As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again

have spent most of the morning in the garden, having a tidy round but also needed to look at the veggie patch which had been sadly neglected :o anyway it is now dug over, the remains of the savoy cabbage have been removed and i dug up the last lot of carrots i sowed. Many of them have been attacked by carrot root fly but there are a sizeable load left. enough to make soup i reckon although I confess to my shame Ive never found the idea of carrot and coriander soup to be that appetising :o still its either that or i blanch and freeze them.

I need to sow my peas, I did it really late last year and they were decimated by green fly  Still need to write a list of when stuff needs to start being germinated.
More decluttering been going on, now its just finding a home for all this [STRIKE]shi[/STRIKE] sorry treasures ;)

back now aching and body is calling out for a large cup of coffee :D

Mine's just arrived - I've found my way round all the controls without a problem, and got it connected to the wi-fi; and I've downloaded two free books: Gulliver's Travels, which I've never read, but have wanted to for years, and a fantasy anthology, Spell Circle, which looks interesting.:T:T:T:T:T

There's loads of free reading material on Amazon, and even the pay-for things look very reasonable.:o

Next time I suggest DIY and house renovation someone slap me.
H is laying new carpet for our bedroom (pattern of split nail polish isnot a good look ) Heres hoping this lot remains unstained oooooh for all of about 3 weeks <rollseyes>

Just had heated discussion about chest of drawers in our bedroom. Bear in mind we have the largest bedroom with the least amount of furniture and he now wants to shove the large chest of drawers in DS bedroom. We can have a zen like room and kids have wall to wall furniture?? He cant see what he problem is, his answer to every thing is to shove it in a drawer. Its that sort of problem solving thats made decluttering a necessity rather than a luxury..........

for the moment I am surplus to requirements, cant even do the ironing as I cant get upstairs to the board or indeed the clothes. I might as well have a lie down on the sofa ;)
