Oh no can I handle the pressure? don't have any great expectations Fantasia it's nit much more than the ramblings inside my head and tidbits of my life

Planning of having a wee look at the sales online today, not much of a one for shopping at the best of times but am going to keep eye out for the start of Christmas present cupboard ;)

Me too, and i've even got an urge to go into town:eek::eek:Mental I know:D:D

  • H has already gone to local retail park to have a nose. Not much worth having he reckons.
I have £50 in Christmas money......I want to make this stre-e-e-e-e-etch as far as possible on stuff for me. Not necessarily clothes but feel I am lacking in the accessory department.

My lovely watch has also given up the ghost :( it was a birthday pressie from my mum and dad, not sure it's cost effective to repair, was £75 and is probably about 8 years old. By the time you've paid for repair and for it to be sent off might be worth just having another new watch. Can survive I reckon til my birthday in march ;)

I must be the only person on the planet who can't see the attraction :o

Well that's a slight lie, I can see the attraction for travelling abroad and not wanting to take up space. But generally no.....I prefer books I am afraid :o

I rather like the idea of a Kindle; might make reading easier when my hands are so bad that I can't even hold a flippin' book. Trouble is, I have so little time for reading (mainly because household tasks take 3 times as long as for someone whose joints work properly) that I'm not sure I can justify getting one. I do have £80 in Amazon vouchers stashed at present, but they generally get used for Mr LW's PC games.... Ho hum..... Dilemma......

I think you should treat yourself LW - it's important to have something to do to relax, and if a kindle makes reading easier, then you may get better at resting! You do FAR more housework than I do, and I know MrLW would rather you spent time resting than worrying about dust.

LW I second greenbee, if it makes it easier for you to read then have it :) it doesn't matter how often, if it gets used then it was worth it xc
