b@$%4rds at least they did not get in. report it straight away and dont touch anything. i hope your insured, get an incident number of police. your insurance may not go up if you have not claimed in a while. mine did not with tesco.

We reported it last night had the fingerprint bloke out at 8am today but with all the rain he wasn't hopeful, waiting on the insurance assessor now.

• I never knew u can return an item if dtd was given even if clean receipt. Noone ever got trouted about that? Surely they have it on their system? I once bought a phone sel £60,paid £129, dtd given receipt not marked. Dirty thought had crossed my mind,we were in a desperate need for money but wasnt brave enough to go and return thinking it will come up on system as dtd given

• I bought a digital camera which I got DTD on, making the camera cheaper but not free and took it back for a refund as decided it wasnt quite right for a gift , they happily refunded me the original price that I paid.

just to let you know the Sabatier knife block sets are still out there, they have only just found them on hukd. for £6. i still want some but wife says no. glad i havent seen them. but on the up side it shows we are reasonably hidden where we are in the gone section or they would have found them ages ago.

if the receipt isn't marked it is a GOLDIE ;) (referred to it many times on here)
I only got trouted once when my receipt was marked with dtd and I only got refunded what the promotional sel was...
so I learned from that and make sure now my receipts are as clean as possible... :p

Yeah the receipt was marked and the guy was there the night before when I bought it, I said I wasnt sure how much money I'd be refunded as I'd got DTD because it was wrongly priced and he said that it was their mistake and I was entitle to a full refund!
They're not always this friendly there, I think like everywhere it depends on who serves you.
