I have just returned the item without receipt and exchanged it for a few different items ! No questions asked !:T

All i did was ask a question and I was insulted by her response ! I have a right to defend myself ! She know nothing of my circumstances or what I was doing . If she had nothing useful to say - she should have said nothing ! It was simple question! ( yes it was a simple response ) but not useful in any manner !

I have read on here lots of people returning things they got DTD - I just wanted to know if I could do it without receipt ! Anyhow I know the answer now !:T

Can't be bothered with arguing - im not the type in person just really felt annoyed that Angelina was judging me when she had no idea of what I was going to be buying !

P.s I got 2 lovely hat scarf and gloves sets and 2 fleece blankets to add to the boxes ! Also managed to get some anticeptic cream and plasters in the reduced section to add also .

Am going to sign off now for a bit - don't know if I can be bothered with this site anymore - there is always some sort backbiting !
I loved being on here as everyone helped each other not judged them for their methods.

What you mean is my answer wasn't useful because it wasn't what you wanted to hear.

As I said before, you asked about returning it to a different store and pretending you don't have the receipt. But you do have a receipt because you've used it once to get double your money back.

I do not agree that this is right. I'm simply stating my opinion on a public forum... to a question that you asked.

I got my first DTD today!!! :T Purely coincidental though! I didnt see the post earlier about the advent calendars til now, but I bought 6 advent calendars (one for each child) as they were only a pound each. As I was walking out of the store I glanced at my receipt and they had charged me £2.00 each instead! I walked back to the Christmas aisle to make sure I hadnt read it wrong then went to CS. The lady was lovely and refunded me the £12 so I got the calendars for free, which Im so pleased about cos I was worried about buying them with our budget anyway!! It was the Disney Princesses and Cars calendars. She did remove the label off the shelf though (D*rringt@n)
  • YES, yes, yes. More DTDs today.
Bottle of Oceans Edge Pinot Noir - SEL £7.25 went through at £10.25
Green & Blacks Chocs - SEL £4.50 went through at £5.50
Tesco Delux chocs - £10.00 SEL BOGOG - BOGOF did not kick in.

Found the trays but the SA noticed that they went through at 1p. She asked me what the price was on the shelf so I told her I could not remember but as I was in a rush I would leave them and come back for them tomorrow.

Had a pack of Xmas wrapping paper with 4 2m rolls, bows and ribbon. It was in a display with loads more. The large SEL stated £1.50 but it scanned at the till at £5. The SA noticed it was £5 and told me so. I told her I did not think it was that much and left it. I did not want to do dtd as my local removes the SELs so figured someone else might want wrapping paper more. I think it might be because there are some that contain Disney xmas paper and some that are generic xmas paper. I think the offer might only be for the Disney ones. Worth a check and will give a good DTD if you need to buy a few packs ;-) HTH

    New glitch (I'm so clever!)

In the new price drop mag it states that go ahead yoghurt breaks are half price. They are not!!!

They are buy one get one free so just buy one and they will go through at £2.69!

Go straight to cs and whip out your shiny mag to page 16!

    Bingo. Free snack!!!!

Just back from a local and at the back of the Bernard Matthews are a couple with stickers and they are still scanning full price! Will go back later to get a couple as the girl on CS was the one who gave me DTD on these on Weds and I dont want to get caught! Hopefully if I go back at 6 I should be alright and wont need to buy a turkey for Christmas Day!

Just a quick post from me that might cheer some of you up :D

For those of you that managed to get the cars2 advent calendars or the t's chocs that Wool found, both of these items price check :j

I put both my receipts through last night but didn't hold out much hope and got £1.50 on 3 advent calendars and £4.68 on 3 boxes of chocolates :j. I just wish I hadn't brought 34p DM with my boxes of chocs now as I would have got £9 :( still you win some you lose some and i'm very happy that I got anything at all :D
