You have no need to explain yourself. I was simply pointing out that once you have received more than you paid, it would be nice to send the item to a charity rather than try to get even more money back.

Why do you feel the need to go to a different store and not take in your receipt? Surely there is your answer as to whether its ok to do this.

Oh and for your information, I do donate stuff to charity. I have a box of things here ready to go out, some to the childrens cancer shop and some that i'm trying to find a good shoe box charity for as they are small in size and I think they would be useful.

Tesco have given lots of us stuff that we probably couldn't afford otherwise and i'm grateful for it, I just don't want to take the p!!s

Get down off your high horse !!!

    Im going now !

    Hi,

Can someone help me please? My sister says that she gives her vouchers to her daughter in law to exchange. My daughter has £3 worth which I was going to use with my order which it accepted but then I noticed that it does say you can only use vouchers linked to your club card. I don't know if I should delete it.
    Thanks

Thought I would just post again as will be going on new page soon.
    Thanks

I'm not sure how this works online, but instore the clubcard has to present to use the voucher, I saw a couple of people yesterday who were told they could not use them because the clubcard was not present.
However once they've been exchanged by the clubcard holder for deals tokens, you should be able to combine the deals tokens on a purchase (I did this with my sister for a phone for my mum last year), but you won't be able to exchange just £3 for deals as it would need to be £5 or £10 min.
    hth :)

Now please don't take my post as a reason to start/continue the right vs. wrong debate, I'm just going to answer mummy1983's question:

you don't have much chance to return/exchange without receipt if the item isn't Tesco's brand or exclusive to T, unless the CS is really nice etc. BUT if you can go back to the store you got it from, write down the numbers from the bottom of your receipt and ask for a copy as "you intend to give some of the items as xmas gifts and want to give it with the receipt in case they want to exchange/have it already" whatever excuse you can think of... they'll print you a copy of the receipt and you can do what you want with it... (make sure you don't ask the same person who gave you the dtd)
and for the future: if you know you'll get dtd on something you can ask for a copy at the time of purchase(before you go to CS obviously), just ask the SA to print it twice as "some are xmas gifts" ;) I did it once and couldn't stop grinning when I saw the CS girl scribbling all over the original receipt :p

and good morning everyone! :D :A

Loving the quiz that is put up, don't think I am doing too bad.

I never went to tesco last night  OH twisted my arm into a takeaway, which technically saved us money as whenever I go to T's I spend more than I need to, I am not as restrained as I could be.

Whoever it was that put about not looking at the clock/turning it round for my sleep problems, it helped last night not sure to what extent but it did :D It still took a while for me to nod off but not as long as normal because I wasn't clock watching. Same as when I woke up had no idea what time it was and nodded back off quickish so a big thanks going to try it again tonight.

In other totally off topic news, I have this face today
Had a lot of trouble with a neighbours son dangerous driving, finally police took notice and were going to prosecute. Whole street did statements etc only to get told today that nothing can be done as he wasn't notified within 14 days of each incident that it was a criminal office so basically the scumbag is getting away with it! The police should have known this when they have wasted our time and caused more problems by highlighting the fact we have done statements etc so I am not best pleased!

Hope everyone else is ok, oh and Nikki dont do eat! Just pig out on cheap DM or something :p

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)
