OK peeps, gonna keep a low profile on here and only post when I actually get a bargain. I recently found out that my DD goes to Nursery with a child that has both his parents working for Tesco (senior roles). I offered to donate 10 pks of the Little Mrs Scary sweets from halloween to the nursery christmas party. Then heard a voice behind me say 'They should have been binned. they are not supposed to be selling them'. I hasten to add that neither of them work at my local Ts so will be hunting for glitches and bargains as usual. I assure you I will let you know of any finds and will not be passing any information from this forum on to them. If they want the information, they can find it themselves.Avatar courtesey of HC :beer:0

There was a very strange notice at the C.S. of my local Mr T's saying words to the effect of
"Due to a technical fault at Head Office, none of our prices have been updated, so the returns policy doesn't apply. Sorry for the inconvience"
Surely illegal so if anyone is going to Razor corner, Oasterleigh don't bother
Back later to catch up
It's my local too and I'm planning to do a shop there tomorrow. I finally got my first DTD last week on Foxes biscuits, but only bought the one box! Following this thread I have used pricecheck and got two vouchers. I'm hoping to use these tomorrow.
I wonder what they mean about their 'returns policy' not applying 'cos of Head Office problems? With my luck, it won't make much difference to me, but good luck to the dedicated.0 -

OK, report time - I went to Mr T's this afternoon with a shopping list based around moc's and worked out so as to use up one of the 2 x £5 off £40 spend vouchers from last week. Postman came just before we went out and Mr T had very kindly sent me 5 £3 off £30 and one £4 off £30 to use weekly until the new year, so that meant I had an extra £3 off voucher to use :j and that would work out at me paying about £12 after coupons
A couple of things were not in stock, but got some nice whoopsies, etc to take the total back up. I went through the manned till, offered up my pile of coupons with the 2 conditional spends on the top, and £4 off £40 wouldn't scan so she handed it back to me saying that I had to spend £40 to use that one. Well, I had added everything up to £46 but looking at the till it only said £31 for total spend  I said I didn't think my maths were that bad and that I had added up everything aas I went, but she said no, total was just £31. I thought at that point that some thinghs must have gone through at lower prices - well, we all know what Tesco's labelling is like- so had to accept the coupon back from her
I then got very worried as the amount due was getting lower and lower as the coupons were entered, fretting that they would owe me money at the end, but it stopped at me owing them £1.57p. Luckily I had just enough change in my purse, as I had planned to use my debit card and would be embarrassed to use it for such a small amount. Couldn't immediately see what the problem was but once I got home I realised that cashier had only put one of the 4 Dettol no-touch hand wash systems through the till, instead of the 4 I bought. Not only that, but she put 4 of my £3 off coupons through  Once home, there was no way I was going the 7 miles back to the store to tell them, so I got £31.32 of shopping for £1.57 after moc's, 2 conditional spends and a £5 Tesco Gift card from collecting vouchers in The Sun in October which was free to me as someone who buys the paper gives me any coupons
Problem is, I still have 2 x £4 off £40 vouchers to spend by Sunday now
Shopping included 5 packs of the Tesco finest Pork and Bramley Apple Sausages priced up at £2.50 but scanning at 62p (thanks to OP for this one), and one pack of Dormen Caramalised Cashews which scanned at 41p - been wanting to try these for ages since I saw them on here and today was first time I'd seen them. They will definitely be on my next shopping list now I've found what they scan at :j :j
Andrex - no sign of 4 for £3.50 or any other offer
Cadbury's Dairy Milk 120 gms SEL/scanned at £1.39
iLoom balloons 5 pack diferent colours SEL/scanned at £3.50
This was at W1sbech store with no scanners, just asked nice lady at the Pharmacy to price check a few items for me and she was most helpful, taking a note of the sausages so she could go get some when she finished her shift, loads on shelf in freezers
Darn it, I forgot to check for the B Matth*ws Turkey - will check tomorrow thoughMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
