hiya just read your post , i often go tesco for the offers but 9 times out 10 the offers are gone , i went every day once for a whole week after coca cola 2ltr 4 pack priced at £2.98 instead of £5.96 .... shelf was ALWAYS empty , but the day after the offer finished i went and low and behold the shelf was full to the rafters !!! i got home and called CS and was told that it was just unfortunate that there was none there , and i explained all i have above and her feeble reply was well we have deliveries all through the night perhaps a lorry broke down i said more like they were kept back until offer expired , so do they do a price promise /honour if the item you go for is not in stock ?
Thats how I understand it, that particular day I asked a light bulb suddenly came on in my head & I remembered Asda & Tesco used to do them so I thought I'd ask the rest is how I described it in my post0 -
NNNoooooo! The shelf has been empty for days (apart from the SEL:rotfl:) ...bet they have loads in tomorrow if its back up to full!! I noticed they did that with the honey shreddies too:(
Izzeyb, was it an extra store? (my express never had them for 34p, just the extra)
No, just a 'normal' Tesco. Funnily enough, my other 'normal' Tesco 2 miles away still had the SEL up for 34p, but no blocks of the chockie. Fingers crossed for morning. HTH0 -

Might have to hve another try then, but I get very dispondent when theres none on the shelf.
Reminds me of the smarties glitch in the expresses....always empty.
Was actually in one yesterday and saw the end isle FULL of the smarties tube five packs, my heart leapt with excitment and my hands went all twitchy until I remembered the glitch was over, felt a proper plum:o0 -

Who'd have thought shopping at Mr Ts could be so exciting :rotfl:
Which store was this so I can cross it off my hit list? It sounds well and truely barren now:rotfl:0 -
It's my local too and I'm planning to do a shop there tomorrow. I finally got my first DTD last week on Foxes biscuits, but only bought the one box! Following this thread I have used pricecheck and got two vouchers. I'm hoping to use these tomorrow.
I wonder what they mean about their 'returns policy' not applying 'cos of Head Office problems? With my luck, it won't make much difference to me, but good luck to the dedicated.
I don't believe a word of it alledgedly or whatever I'm supposed to say but if I was you take a look to see if the notice is still there, if not, head straight for the Andrex they had the imfamous SEL this afternoon, If it is can you take a photo, I couldn't I would have been too obvious

Thats the boy not the nicest but for 20p I'm not complaining 100% leather & it has a strap inside. Look by the camera cases & also on the display stands by the tills near where they have the battery displays there are a few camera cases.0 -

I recently found out that my DD goes to Nursery with a child that has both his parents working for Tesco (senior roles). I offered to donate 10 pks of the Little Mrs Scary sweets from halloween to the nursery christmas party. Then heard a voice behind me say 'They should have been binned. they are not supposed to be selling them'. I hasten to add that neither of them work at my local Ts so will be hunting for glitches and bargains as usual. I assure you I will let you know of any finds and will not be passing any information from this forum on to them. If they want the information, they can find it themselves.
Trouted and you wasn't even in tesco's! do these people ever clock off, unbelievable!!"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

Strange thing to say, how come they are psychic and know when you bought them?0
