Trouted and you wasn't even in tesco's! do these people ever clock off, unbelievable!!

Tell me about it. Don't worry though, they back tracked a little when I emphasised that I only purchased the sweets for the party, so the kids could have a little treat. They even emphasised that the sweets were fine to use as they were still in date :rotfl:

I may be able to use this to our advantage though so will tread carefully to see if I can reap any benefits ;).

We need to make a list of these things- rain check vouchers, DTD & refunds on DTD items etc & get Tesco to put the policies on the website for all to see then there can be no argument or luck of the draw who you get on the phone at HO. Does anyone know if there is some sort of store manual that C.S. assistants should refer to ?

Well it's funny you should ask that as I was at a new store today and the CS lady was reading a piece of paper which she very kindly left there while she went to check the SEL on Andrex hee hee!

Anyway I took an upside down pic of the paper on my phone and it listed all the reasons for an overcharge! I will try to upload it, please don't sit by your computer as it may take me a while, so useless with computers and currently pic only on my phone:(

Strange thing to say, how come they are psychic and know when you bought them?

Given that I was offering them for a Christmas party rather than Halloween, I think it was easy for them to guess that I had bought them after Halloween. I did not say anything and just emphasised that I would be happy to donate them for the Nursery Christmas party as a treat for the kids.

I do understand where they are comming from as I have worked as a department manager in retail in the past.

Just back from T's and not much to report other than I picked up some more Cheeky monkey car tshirts things for 1p, they've just become a game now. It's the buzz of getting them through the S/S and whenever I go in they just say "buy me":rotfl::rotfl: Got some more milkshakes,I seem to be addicted to these at the moment:o I bumped into a lovely lady who lurks on here a lot and is to shy to post, so Hi you know who you are but I won't mention your name;) We discussed shopping baskets and she had the perfect milks in hers with the vouchers which I never managed to get so she gave me hers, how nice is that:T:T:T Just drank the coffee one and glad I didnt get them as they were delicious and I could see me drinking loads of it:(

found some more of these in my local Tesco garage...picked up another 3 bottles!:D

castrol gtx 15w40 oil 2 litre £3 in Tesco

Saw this in Tesco garage looks like 75% off.

1 litre is normally around £8.99..great for keeping in the boot for top ups..

I picked up 5 cartons, works out at £1.50 a litre, you couldn't pick up wilkos/asda own brand at that price!!
