I'm not a sky customer , and it doesn't seem logical to spend a lot of money on a 40" TV then to watch on a mobile device (although I do watch BBC breakfast to see if Sian is still looking hot)
You may not be interested in Sky Go but i'm sure just about every Sky customer who owns an Android handset would love to watch Sky premium channels on their handset whilst on the move - not very practical to carry your 40" telly with you everywhere;). I'm sure all those First Direct banking customers with an Android handset would just luuuurve to be able to use the FD app on their handsets - i'm not talking about a glorified website here, i'm talking about a proper dedicated app.
Anyway the point i'm trying to make is rightly or wrongly, developers make apps for the iOS first even though Android is well out of the infancy stage and apps for Android quite often follow a long time later.0 -

Indeed you are correct , as I do like to use my FM radio (as you can see I have Tune-In radio too) ,the main apps are available quite early , but as you point out they can beta test apps via iphone, two apps were on iphone early that would have interested me, british gas and road angel, whilst road angel is not available still, road pilot is and I will subscribe once the trial period has expired , the BG app is more practical on the android compared to my ipod touch as it includes a torch feature to illuminate the meter area.0 -
My iPhone 3G broke recently and being unable to afford a new one I got a HTC wildfire instead. I have to say I haven't really noticed a difference yet.0
