Thanks for your help.

Oh ok Thanks!
I thought students might get a few quid off or maybe a few extra mins/text.
Thanks anyway,

Just signed up to 3.
SE K800ir, 12 months half price @£17.50, 6months @ £35
750 anytime anynetwork minutes, 150 txts
Not too bad as i'm on PAYG and spend about £25 p/m on average.
plus signed up through quidco and clicked recommend a friend.
That was 2 hours ago, quidco still showing as:
"No transactions currently tracked."
Is this normal?
Worried this transaction will not track - one of the major deciding factors was the £100 back through quidco......0 -
my transaction (dated 4th Feb) showed up as "Tracked" only the next day evening. so i would not worry about that.
does anyone know when the status changes to "Validated"0 -
Can you refer yourselves for the £30 friend thing?Thanx

Was Offered Loads Of Deals And Free Phones Etc. Was Going To Go Down The Quidco Route And Do A New Contract, But Am Happy With My Nice Little Nokia So The Guy Did A Great Deal I Think. I Have A New 12 Month Contract For 500 Minutes And 100 Text All For £6.25 A Month!!!! They Did This By Giving Me £135 Credit To My Account From This They Take £15 A Month For Nine Months Then I Pay Months 10,11 And 12 At £15 For Month 10, Then £30 A Month For Months 11 And 12. So I Pay £75.
So £75/12= £6.25 A Month For 500 Minutes And 100 Text
And Dont`t Have To EbaY aNY Phones Or Wait For Quidco Cashback Or Save Any Bills For Redeption Etc.....
I Think I Got A Very Good Deal!!!
Hope This Is Of Help To People!!!

Hi truefan
Welcome to MSE.I would of asked for a new phone also just in case mine packed up.That way I could have recycled my old phone from some companies
mentioned on here like http://www.envirofone.com/index1.asp?source=30006&siteid=1223
That way I may have earn't something out of it.
I still enjoy the cashback route with www.quidco.com but I guess it's because I have been lucky so far and Quidco and the phone outlet have paid up.This makes the phone deal for a year to me at no cost and with the extra cashback from Quidco, I am in profit.0 -
lazymoezy wrote:Considering there is no cashback, is this the best deal for me?
I'll get £100 via Quidco + £30 if reccomended by someone (still looking for that person). It equals around £10-£11 per month for 750mins + 150 texts or was it 200 texts? I dont need the texts but overall thats a good deal considering I'de easily spend £10 on top-up every month with less minutes.
I would only use this contract during peak hours as I have a o2 contract which gives me unlimited x net minutes between 7pm-7am and weekends.
What do you lot think, I'm learning this stuff day by day, any help, tips or reccomendations of other tarrifs would be highly appreciated!
Thanks,
-MoE-
By the time you read this I would think you may have already gone for the deal.I do hope you will get the Quidco cashback as it's not guaranteed and
if they don't receive it you won't get it.Let's hope it tracks quick.
I haven't looked at any 18months contracts-do they give you more than one year guarantee on the phone?
Providing the cashback deals,Quidco and you get a good price to recycle
your phone ,then I would always opt for a 12 month only contract. You still would get around 6000 x-network minutes and for me that's enough over the year.Remember if you go for a 12month deal check you can give notice at month 11 without loosing any cashback.0 -
I am thinking of going through Quidco and can also use recommend a friend for the 3 deal
I'm worried about clicking on the "recommend a friend" link after linking from the Quidco site and losing the referral - which you need to do to get both. I have spoken to Three and they can't recommend the friend over the phone after you have signed up.
Can anyone confirm that they have done this and got both the £30 RAF and £100 Quidco ?
Thanks0
