    Yep I did.

And despite getting 20/28 on qualification yesterday, I believe, based on my calculations, I failed that too as a result of the individual category requirements...

    *sigh*

Glad it's not just me. Looking again at the two documents they gave us, the information in one of them definitely seems to be wrong/out-of-date. So, hardly surprising if our levels of understanding are below the "acceptable" level, really, is it?

Uh oh. :( Was wondering how you got on. It seems completely down to luck whether you get an easy-ish set, or a hard one that's practically impossible to pass.

Am actually expecting to find myself removed again in the next few days, as I didn't seem to do very well on either audits or RTA's this week. Mainly because - yet again - they just CANNOT be consistent in their interpretation of the guidelines, IMO.

To be honest, I'm just finding it all too stressful right now.

The standards are unrealistic, and the constant threat of removal or sacking makes financial planning very difficult.

I understand they need to monitor quality and make sure people aren't spamming/randomly rating, however, in my view, doing the metrics on a monthly basis would be FAR fairer, and would avoid this ridiculous situation where disproportionately difficult RTAs, or a sudden influx of audits impact the quality ratings and results in removal from production.

I feel like I try my best, give the best I can, but it will never be good enough.

Still, no point moaning I guess, it's not going to change anything...

    Hi there

I'm new to Appen crowdsourcing and not finding some things very clear, i.e. getting paid.

I was offered 1 round of the glass project which I duly submitted but I have had no acknowledgement that they have received my work or that they will pay me. Is there somewhere I can check this or are we just kept hanging until it appears in our paypal.

I also answered their request from yesterday for urgent transcription work but have not heard back about this either.

Lastly, I cannot access the taleo site as it says I have had my email deactivated and to contact my website administrator but, I don't know who that is, please does anyone know?. Is taleo where they keep a record of my work?

I hope someone can relieve me of my confusion! :)

I'm in the same position and just came on to post the same thing. I also did the glass project but didn't receive a confirmation and i have emailed and asked how/when i will be paid but not received a reply.

I responded to the urgent transcription project sent yesterday but i haven't heard anything back either.

I am signed up for crowdsourcing work but i've not done any as i can't login onto the LiveID thing on Internet Explorer and i have emailed support but they just send automated replies telling me my login details which i already know.

This all seems dodgy and i'm concerned that i won't be paid for the glass project. I signed up so long ago that i don't even know if they have my payment details or how they pay. Is it by paypal or do they pay into your bank?

Thank you for your replies, nothing in my paypal and I'm certain I gave them the details when I signed up.

Does anyone know who I contact? They don't seem to acknowledge my emails.

    Many thanks

Just done the utterances test. Is there a button to actually submit the test, or does it just go through? I cannot see where you can submit it but shows 100 utterances as completed so maybe thats it? Thanks in advance :o
