The renter class pay the market rate to rent. Be it £500 to £2000 that is up to them as they are willing to pay it and the landlords mortgage off for him. Absolutely nothing to do with you and your whiny postings.
Hi Mr Ree, are you having a nice weekend doing your silly little Internet persona thing where you pretend to be the landed gentry? Don't forget it's back to your office junior job on Monday, the boss will want a cup of tea at 9am sharp.0

You seem to take issue with these people getting £200 a month.
Do you take issue with people getting £500-£2000 a month in rent?
 If not, why not?
Well I am paying £1600 pcm in rent myself so clearly not (and I suspect that about £500 of that is going back to the Exchequer).0

So you have no problems in the benefit system paying 500-2k each month for housing purposes.
But £200 a month for a car to give mobility to the disabled should be scrapped?
Wonder why your thoughts are so different? Doesn't take long to figure it out. Another poster who wants to see benefit cuts for others...unless of course it may effect their interests.0

On the contrary, I do have a problem with the benefits system paying excessive amounts for people's housing. Why would you think otherwise?
We need to look at all excessive spending and if you want to start a thread on this theme you will find me supporting you.
This country is bankrupt and we all need to take action now to preserve the future for our children.0

Well you did just write a post which unequivocally stated that you do not have a problem with it, so that's probably the basis of Graham's comment!!0

I am not a socialist. I was talking about the government funding some scum slag with 7 kids to stay in a million pound house in westminster when they should be down some disused coal mine in western wales digging with their bare hands.0

You'll have to link to my post where I said I didn't have a problem with the benefits system paying excessive amounts for people's housing.0

Well post #113 above is a response to a post in which GD is asking you whether you object to people getting 500-2000 a month in housing benefit. Whilst he doesn't use that exact language that it so obviously what he is asking you that there is no other way his question could be interpreted. Anyway, you've cleared up any confusion your answer may have created so let's not have a 40 page argument about it.0
