    The criteria is below

Seems pretty strict to me as you need the higher rate to qualify for a mobility car

Not taking Landrover as an authority but how can 2m people qualify under this criteria.

Because the government think they meet the criteria. You maybe suggesting that some are abusing the system but thats a different debate to the one you started.

The question, once again, should be why is top rate DLA so high?

Someone else can do the sums but if 2m people are receiving £50 per week for the higher rate (shudder to think how many are receiving the lower rate) how much is that costing the country over a year?

I have no beef with the disabled getting all the help and support they need. As a society we need to look after the most vulnerable. It's a shame renters feel otherwise.

Well that's also a bit different to your last post:

No its not. I said the criteria to get is strict and thats pretty clear. i have no idea whether the 2m claiming are lying about their disability and neither do you. Both DWP and the mobility scheme will have systems for people to shop benefit cheats and if you believe people are cheating the system them I suggest you shop them.

Thats not your problem though is it? You problem is that their are disabled people driving around in new cars which actually don't cost the government any more money but your belief is they should be using robin reliants probably so you can have a good laugh at them.

    Pimperne....

You seem to take issue with these people getting £200 a month.

Do you take issue with people getting £500-£2000 a month in rent?

    If not, why not?

I have issue with people getting obscene amounts of money for rent too.

The renter class pay the market rate to rent. Be it £500 to £2000 that is up to them as they are willing to pay it and the landlords mortgage off for him. Absolutely nothing to do with you and your whiny postings.
