  • baby just gone down for a nap so i may have half an hour to do something if i start quickly. Kettles just boiled, WM just finished, so i plan to make the cuppa, clean the sink, wash WM drawer, clean cooker top for now. WM has just finished with a load of bibs, and postie just delivered, so i will grab that to sort through too

    See you all later.

Morning. I'm only just back in as I've had a GP appt. I'm going to play today by ear and do the dailies first after what happened last week. My kitchen barely needs anything doing, but other rooms do so I'm just going to see how I manage time-wise today.

I'm after some help with DH packed lunch. Before I had the nightly routine I was very hit and miss with making his pack-up which meant he had to buy out and it really eats into our budget. Last night I made his packed lunch only for him to leave it in the fridge (again:mad: , he did the same last week). When I say something I just get "don't go on about my sandwiches" , which doesn't resolve the issue. He is usually up and out of house long before I get up so me remembering in morning isn't really an option. How do I get him to go to the fridge in a morning instead of going straight out front door  . Help please

You could just try putting a post-it note on the front door or stuck to his mobile or anywhere else he'll definitely see it before he goes out of the door.

You could stick a big sign on the front door saying ' packed lunch in fridge - forget it at your peril' in big red writing  I would :D

    Hi

I know someone was on about using vacuum storage bags so just thought I'd mention that Lidl have got a set of 2 (50x60cm & 70x100cm) for £1.99 from next monday. There's also storage boxes on the list too.

Well you see I did the school run and instead of sitting down with a cuppa like I used to I grabbed a cleaning cloth and set to in the bathroom ;) I promised myself some me time on the computer if I could get it all done by 11am :D I'll give myself until 11.15 now looking around here and then I'll get started on hunting down my ebay listing file...I know its around here somewhere :rotfl:...then get on with the listings for the rest of the day. ;)

Well I have the cooker shelves steeping and have sprayed the oven, the fridge has been wiped down and the shelves cleaned, just stopped for a cuppa :coffee: and then I will hang out the washing and get the cooker finished before lunch. Could I ask what do people use to clean their cookers with, I have just finished my bottle of multi purpose and thought I might give stardrops a go - is it also a success on cookers?

Can you all keep an eye out for my driving licence please!!!!!!!!!! It's somewhere so safe I can't find it:mad: and I need it for Wednesay when I take the car for repairing (scratched it on a post, well p***ed off I can tell you!) and get a courtesy car.

You've all made such a good start, I feel like I am lagging behind already plus I need to get a load of ebay stuff ready to list. Mustn't complain though, been my best month since I opened my shop on there.

So my licence is in a hot spot, a VERY safe hot spot

Coffee while I think, then PO with ebay stuff before picking DS up at 11.30

    Later ;)
