I'm quite pleased up to now. DH also washed 2 cars and tidied up my plant pot at the back door. I need to cook a roast chicken dinner, and sort babies bottles for tomorrow, but i really feel like we are getting somewhere. I'll try and do some more of the little bits later. After all, there is nothing at all on the telly i want to watch today so i might as well be productive somewhere. ;)

Thanks for making me chuckle shell and hopeelizy. I know i won't always be as pleased, but if it stops at 7:30am i don't mind.

brummiebabe - i love the latest piccie of your DD on your avator. She's got lovely hair. Unfortunately Charlie looks like i've shaved a patch off the back of his head where he constantly wriggles and rubs it away.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone.

    Hello again,

Well, upstairs is lovely and tidy - DD and i tidied her room, she wouldnt get rid of anything, but did agree to some bits going into the loft to give her some more room - she has a tiny bedroom, and boxes of toys under her mid-sleeper bed, but at least she has some more room now.
We had a lovely piece of lamb for lunch, DW is now cleaning all the dishes for me, including the hob - much easier than doing it myself!!! Kitchen has been wiped down and BM also on.
All that needs doing now is hoover the stairs and downstaris, which i will do in a bit, then im off for a bath and hair wash - now the house is clean and tidy, i think i should at least attempt to look a bit better than i do now!
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • hmm i have been absent most of the weekend while you have all been v busy  but have had lovely time. Lots of friends were all home yesterday (for the meal we weren't going to go due to finances) so lots of them visited yesterday afternoon with children and it was lovely. I then met another friend for coffee early eve and then begged my husband for us to go out :o thankfully he saw sense and although he offered me to just go so half the price i then saw reason and didn't go - thank goodness as it would have cost £60  i'm seeing it as one moment of weakness - thank goodness dh made me see sense

then today not much flying cos we went to the beach :D it was heaven.

did cook roast tho and dw on also did double veg so will make chicken pie tomorrow

off to do one more shelf in my awful cupboard while dds happy playing with daddy

oh and i have discovered pigsback :D

hope everyone has had good weekend see you bright and early tomorrow
  • I'm feeling a bit miserable as my flying has been grounded for most of last week, due to having a cold and various other unexpected things that cropped up, such as helping out at DD's pre-school after people fell ill (note to self - learn to say NO!).

Anyway, I woke up this morning having not cleared up after last nights dinner (no shiney sink), came down to the kitchen and all the mess I had to sort out put me in such a bad mood. I really need to jump back in as we are going on holiday on Friday and I want the house to be clean and tidy so that I don't come back to a mess!!

Off to put the kids to bed then do some flinging boogies!!!! Wish me luck!
I like cooking with wine......sometimes I even put it in the food!

    Hey all,

I've once again had a poor week for flying and totally regretted it this morning when a friend/work colleague came to pick me up to go out and wanted to come in as she's never seen my flat before! Argh! I felt so embarrassed and have been suitably kicked back up the proverbial to do better again!

I have just washed 3 days worth of dishes. :o

My excuse is I've had a very busy week at work and I once again spent yesterday on the allotment and worked 8 hours today at a wedding show!

Now need to get my marking done for school. I'm on a course tomorrow though so should finish earlier than normal so can get back on top of things tomorrow night.

I'm going to do a load of washing and vacuum but I'm too exhauseted for anything else. Is that very naughty?
Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...

Thanks Michelle - everyone comments on the amount of hair she has - she even had to have her fringe trimmed (she's only 3 months old!) :rotfl: Normally I brush her hair down, but that picture was taken just after her bath - and shows her curly hair!!
