Oh well washings still not dry outside, think I'll have to finish off on airers, at least some was done outside jsta bit too cold still I think.

Well I've kept on top of washing up, shopping done and away, DP in a grumpy mood so didn't have the best start to the afternoon as that put me in one, but he's gone to work now so trying to grab 5 minutes chill time before I do anything else. He has took the black bag of baby stuff I sorted for his friend with him to drop off so that is out of the way. Some things have been dumped on the PC desk so that needs a resort. Just me and the boys for tea, DP refused food, so think I'll have a prawn baked potato with some salad and something else for the boys.

Didn't get any boxes as the ones I wanted were out of stock and the others were expensive, will try another day.

Striking the list as I go, seems like I've got so little done so far :( but I suppose it is a weekend list not just todays
One day I might be more organised...........

Just got all the washing in, most of it has dried but I've put a few things over the radiators. They will be dry soon I'm sure.

Made some muffins and an apple and blackberry crumble. That's every bit of flour used now so no more baking until the shopping comes on Tuesday.

I had a good general sweep round in the back garden and it made it look better. Lots of crocuses opening up in the sunshine, so pretty. I sat on the outside bench in the sun reading the paper while lunch was cooking and it was really warm, but as soon as you go into the shade you remember it's February!

Got off to a late start today due to the fact that DH and I went out last night to an Irish music festival, and we spent this morning sleeping in and recovering from a few too many beers and whiskey's. :rotfl:
We had an absolute blast though so well worth it!

sounds wonderful....who was playing? Anyone I would know?
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

Well you never know, it's a small world ;-) We got stuck in one pub to party with Paul Martin. In the other pubs there was bands playing like Danny Guinan, Darren Byrne, and Gordon Scott. The whole thing was organised by an Irish chap called Mark Gilligan. Loads more that I've never heard of before either.

Paul Martin plays Irish Folk, loads of beautiful balads, and loads of good old drunken sing alongs. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
He played at our wedding as well, and he's absolutely wonderful. (as a muciscian AND as a person)

    Right well, since I'm here..

I got off to a slow start but caught up in the end.
Doing load after load of washing. The folding will come later or tomorrow...

Cleaned my floors, and ended up looking around thinking: I've still got energy.. what else am I going to do?

    SO I cleaned the over.

SPrayed it with Cillit Bang first.. left it to soak for a wee bitty and cleaned the whole thing out. Got crampy hands now from cleaning the racks! :D
But it's looks dead good now!

Tea is cooking.. that's why I'm sitting. :D

Working all day and only just finished so not done any cleaning. We're going round to a friends house in a hour so i've popped on here to get motivated and then i'm going to clean and get ready in the time I have left.

Big hugs to anyone feeling poorly.

Puddy cat very happy today as my husband wasn't at work. Sat on his knee for hours being spoilt. Talk about the cat who got the cream!

Have a nice weekend everyone xx

I'm not doing a list tonight! I have posted one for the weekend and will leave any other jobs to your own imagination until Monday if you really need to do anything. I refuse to do any more than the most basic housework other than preparation for school on Monday over the weekend. Spending time with the children and having some time to myself is more important. As long as the dailies and nightime routines are done then the house is fairly company ready anyway.
