good evening :hello:
seems like everyone is enjoying this lovely weather :T it was warm and sunny here too!
managed to take the kids to the park which was actually quite nice (despite being dead tired)
i then had i cleaning fit (due to being mad with OH!) and attacked my pc desk  - pulled it out and cleaned under, behind and the desk itself. pulled all (!) the cables (about 100) to rearrange them again. (made OH put everything together again since he is home and suffering dead man with a flu
) - then i cleaned the pc as such (virus, adware, bits and bobs) - runs nicely again
- but all that with 2 whingy whiney toddlers pulling at my sleeves permanently while OH was potatoeing on the sofa and watching tv. so i gave up and stormed upstairs and had a bath instead
so, pc desk is clean :T, kitchen is clean, d/w is on, floors are swept, toys are off the floor
that was more than enough for me - i seriously need more sleep soon or you will talk to a zombie :rolleyes:I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work0 -
moggins wrote:I'm not doing a list tonight! I have posted one for the weekend and will leave any other jobs to your own imagination until Monday if you really need to do anything. I refuse to do any more than the most basic housework other than preparation for school on Monday over the weekend. Spending time with the children and having some time to myself is more important. As long as the dailies and nightime routines are done then the house is fairly company ready anyway.

Morning everyone. I've been up for hours (a night on the tiles does that to me sometimes
) so
- 54 fling boogie in the bedroom - recycling, laundry and a spot of rubbish
- 1 WM load (lightsnwhites) done and on radiators
- 1WM load (darks) on the go now
- potted up a hyacinth bowl Xmas present and found room for it in the airing cupboard
- did some clothes mending:eek: must have been the wine that made me do it, no mending is normally ever done in this home.
After my success with vinegar on the bathroom limescale, I have done some serious de-scaling on the kitchen sink. It will always be a gritty tan 70s colour, but not so scaly:)
Good news is that I found the shop where I want to buy my sofa is on Quidco. Bad news is that the colour I want - as seen in the showroom - isn't an online option.I'll have to call them when they open at 11.
Have a lovely day everybody - spring will be here in a while:THi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MoneySavingExpert Forum Team0 -
