The Compers Inn part 33

Morning all,
Hope everyone is well. I can still hear the wind this morning but the worst has missed this area - it was a shock to see what was happening in the Central Belt. (Thanks for thinking of me Bishopsgirl! :A )
Postman will be back today but goodness knows when. When my DH was working one year he started work at 4.30am and finished at 5pm on this day. They really get hit when England is working and they are off. Hope he brings somthing nice anyway but I expect it will be holiday brochures and bills! Can't really book much this year as DS will have exams and I don't know if he will leave school or not. He will be 16 in May so could leave him but a worrying thought! He is coming to Menorca in July with us which surprised me.
Anyway, off to the comps - have a lucky day.

Morning all, it's a better day here in Kent, well, it's dry at least, still very overcast though. I'm off out to try and get some of those little rings and hooks for curtains, not sure where will have those now, so many places have closed down recently. I washed my bedroom curtains yesterday and as I'm trying to put them back the rings are just shattering
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all
Wingo no we never did manage to get in the piehate wasting but numerous tin openers and half hour later we gave up and had something else. We laughed about it but was so frustrating too.
Sheils glad you havent got any damage from the winds. It is still blowing here but not howling through our block like last night. It has caused a lot of damage across the country i think.
Sue hope you find what you need for your curtains.
Hope everyone has a good day
PS has anyone seen Jane since christmas?£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -
Hi Becks,
Jane popped in and said she had been too busy to comp but can't remember when it was!
What does everyone want to win this year - not counting cash? I would like another luxury hotel stay, an ipad and a Kindle! (I'm not greedy :rotfl::rotfl:)Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Sheils my list is similar to yours.
Would really love a kindle for OH and I want an IPad.
Other than that happy with anything that comes along. If it means a few extra treats for someone along the way that is good enough for me.
Would be nice to win something to do with
Photography as that is my passion but in all honesty a dslr is pretty useless to me as already have one with three lenses (one of which is worth £800)£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -
Yip the Kindle would be for DH and iPad for me! Wanted to buy DH a Kindle for Xmas but he has never tried one and wouldn't let me incase he didn't like it. I have £50 of vouchers in Amazon account that we won from Lemsip so if I win any more maybe he'll get one for his birthday. Must admit I love winning things for other peeps, my dad's fishing rod was the best.
I only use an old Sony Cyber-shot which is pretty old and scratched looking as it goes everywhere with us. (Holidays abroad, beaches, waterparks, themeparks etc) Maybe I should ask for a new one for my birthday but then I would need to look after it better!Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

I have a handheld samsung for every day use but my dslr is my real love. Although its very heavy carrying around a camera, three lenses and a tripod when i go on a photo shoot
You did well on the lemsip comphopefully there will be a few more similar comps on facebook over the next few months
I am going to local theatre tomorrow with mother in law and her 9 year old neice. We went last year to see Peter Pan and it was brilliant. It is Alice in Wonderlad this year so should be good.£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -

We are going to go there this year with our Merlin passes - been promising kids for ages. Went to Drayton Manor last year and loved it. See the annual passes are reduced to £78 at the moment. You won't use Tesco or you could use Tesco vouchers! Quite often see BOGOFs though.
Keep my fingers crossed for you. I used to always look out for those comps.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Postie didnt bring anything nice. Only a letter to say the housing officer is visiting tomorrow (probably have to change that far too short notice) for our regular visit. Have to have one every year to check no issues with tenancy etc. cant wait for OH to tell her all about the people upstairs they drive him potty always banging about...
I better tidy up tonight then properly£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120
